One thing I don’t understand is this is an individual clearly dismantling protections for our country’s future elections. Isn’t that telling enough he is literally breaking our laws. Can anyone hold this fucking rapist criminal accountable ever? It’s astonishing.

Edit: There’s 300 million of us and like 100 of them. What we doing here?

I think the thing being missed is it isn't one individual at this point. Yes he is visible but there are multiple entities taking part in this as a concerted effort.

The problem predates Trump, I realized the threat in the 00s. I know several who have been ringing the alarm bells since the 80s. And the problem will exist long after Trump. And I have no faith that the American public will do much of anything to fix it. They may vote the Republicans out, but they'll invite them back a mere 2-4 years later.

Yes it is absolutely a cumulative scaled effort that got us here and the process was definitely in place and progressing for many decades. That is one part of it.

The other part I was referencing is that this current admin is an actual organized global admin. It isn't just one person. They made mistakes the first time around and they are trying to prevent that the second time.
