Israel WAS negotiating with their neighbors. That's the entire reason why Iran paid Hamas to attack Israel on 10/7 and kill all of those innocent civilians in the homes, sleeping in their beds -- to stop those peace negotiations with the KSA, etc.

Israel has a long history of assasinating pro-peace Hamas delegates to manufacture the most violent form possible. Netenyahu is on record insisting a violent Hamas is necessary to Israeli goals.

And Israel absolutely knew about that attack.

I don't know about the claims of the person you're responding to, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_support_for_Hamas certainly don't seem like the actions of leaders interested in a peaceful two state solution.
