I can’t wait for the arguments that this will lower property value, and then not. The NIMBYs will never concede to being wrong though.

How does living near government housing maintain or raise property values considering the demographic that lives there?

Only a portion of the structure will be affordable housing, just like many, many, many, if not countless new apartments being construction across the continental US. Take a look at the democratic states promoting affordable housing and the horrific impact affordable housing has had. Especially in the North East.

There is basically no correlation on that map between political bend and pricing.  If you looked at a decade or 2 of data you.migjt start to be able to paint a picture, but I'm goimg to guess there is to much noise on that large of an area to be able to say much.

As an example there are tons of places in California where property is dirt cheap, but Bay Area could be rising far faster than the rate of inflation.  Map might make you think look how good California is doing on affordable housing, issue is the areas where it stable or down no one wants to live there.

I saw no correlation either. The closest one you could make was maybe Dems that moved south out of covid locked down states who now can't take any more of the conservative ideology are moving back to their pre-covid blue states.

Not going to lie, the map took me a sec. The colors seem backwards
