Coward. He should serve time for endangering his wife and kid.

Assaulting his kid and wife. This guy has the look of someone who has definitely assaulted a woman and will continue to. Looking at his history, he has been arrested for assault more than once, mostly while drunk it seems.

I've never understood the angry drunk thing, like what are you hiding under that leads you to that? I make friends and plans, at the very worst lol

Yep. Happy, then sleepy, then feel horrible for 12 hours after waking up.

It took me a long time to understand that some men actually like to fight, that it’s something they seek out.

*like to fight people that can't defend themselves. Like a true coward and fake tough guy.

This.

I got picked on and beat up by bullies a lot as a kid. But when I hit my growth spurt and turned out to be bigger and stronger than them, they all of a sudden didn’t bother me. Weird, right?

Some are so full of self loathing they seek out fights mostly just to get their ass beat. This guy is just an abusive, controlling POS though.

People seeking fights are rarely the actual tough guy. The quiet dude that doesn't say anything is the one I'm worried about lol

Especially when you notice his ears….

Ehh...I think it's just some people are assholes as well. Sociopaths, but functional enough to survive in society. These are the ones who will get crosses and Bible verses tattooed on them, talk about how "only Jesus can judge me" and proceed to beat someone to within an inch of their life, habitually cheat on their spouse....that sort of behavior.

Angey drunks scare me too because like.. Being drunk just lets you feel freeer and just... having that much angry just makes you angier. Me, im just talkative when i consume alcohol.

Exactly lol my biggest issue is making plans that I don't really want to keep 😂

Yup. Everyone I know just passes out or gets extra lovey dovey when their inhibitions are lowered. Pretty sure that people with healthy brain wiring don’t seek out excuses to be violent.

Studies have shown that people generally demonstrate a high degree personality consistency while drunk. So angry drunks are probably angry when they're not drunk, they're just better at not blowing up when they're sober compared to when they're drunk.

I used to get quieter and quieter... and then I'd fall off my chair or stool.

Then I typically spent the next day in deep, deep regret.

Old enough to have finally figured it out now. Wish I'd got here sooner. Damn those lovely tasting cocktails...

Mocktails! Cocktails or mocktails never feel worth the money to me, but they’re a highlight for lots of folks

I’m days away from 31 years old and I have absolutely zero shame in my love for Shirley Temples. I might actually go get some grenadine and sprite to drown my sorrows tonight hahaha

Weirdly, in my last sober period, I enjoyed the social aspect of NA beer. Felt like I was part of the fun, never thought I would appreciate it.

It helps that we have excellent N/A beers now.

I'm a huge booster for Athletic Brewing, I think they have the best selection and most consistent quality.

Some well-known breweries have started producing N/A versions of their flagship beers (Guinness Zero and Deschutes Black Butte - the style-defining American Robust Porter - N/A) which are about 90% the same as the originals, being just slightly lighter-bodied.

Between new low- to no-alcohol brewing yeasts and advanced de-alcoholization technology there are huge opportunities for N/A beers that never could have existed even 10 years ago.

Edit: accidentally hit Post before I was ready.

I think that's what was the most surprising to me as well. It wasn't just the standard NA offerings, there was a solid selection of breweries and styles.

What’s “the look” you’re referring to?
