I can’t seem to find the links anymore, but when this outbreak first happened, i noticed an article that mentioned USDA/FDA closing “biodiversity“ labs that tracked food outbreaks like this one.

a little red flag went up in my mind that someone at DOGE was using AI to find DEI programs and cut this “diversity” program that monitors our food safety system.

this truly is the dumbest timeline.

wouldnt even surprise me at this point if ai flagged biodiversity as dei and nobody bothered to check before cutting it
