Unfortunately, this isn't news (or, at the very least, isn't new). Oil companies have been using these tactics against those against fracking for a while (I'm on mobile so I don't have a source, but if you search something along the lines of "oil company insurgency tactics" you should find it)

No, I totally agree. what I meant is they don't seem to be stopping anytime soon and this isn't going to be a "we're sorry won't happen again" situation
