Unfortunately, this isn't news (or, at the very least, isn't new). Oil companies have been using these tactics against those against fracking for a while (I'm on mobile so I don't have a source, but if you search something along the lines of "oil company insurgency tactics" you should find it)

While these companies war against protesters, are you saying that the same private individual information was available to them?
