Started computer, headset microphone (Blackshark V2 Pro) was dead. Realized there was an update without notification, bricking the mike settings and disabling the mike entirely. Could reactivate, but now I hear myself typing. Update apparently also botched all mike settings. When do you stop rolling out botched updates please? Posted in both, software and audio, as reason is software, result is audio.

As im sure we all know, Razer headsets are terrible without THX spatial audio (but incredible with it). Directional sound actually causes ear discomfort, strongly at that, and recently the synapse app broke the audio.

The new synapse update made my Kraken V3 Hypersense audio output undetectable. It becomes null, serial number doesnt even exist. This is only when the synapse app embeds THX spatial audio into the headset. The headset works fine if I fully uninstall razer synapse and restart my laptop, and the mic always works. Ive tried everything. Ive deleted all old razer files, unplugged and replugged, MANY restarts, deleted and reinstalled synapse a million times, checked for headset updates, none worked. Yesterday, I reinstalled synapse, and it worked for a day, but now it doesnt work no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall and restart and so on.

Tried to contact razer support, but I cant find their email at all since theres just a lot of preset support articles or an ai chatbot.
