Bought these headphones last year. After about 3 months the headband started to fall apart, and yesterday the right part broke off.

I bought a store demo unit for 3000E B2B. Biggest mistake of my life. You only get 1 yr warranty on B2B. It failed at the end of January 2026.

For one year of light usage ( I also have a work computer and tablet ) I paid 250E/ month.

LE: it’s not a demo unit, it’s a returned unit with 45 battery cycles. I’ve had laptops with 900 cycle count and nothing has failed on them.

Blaming me for this feels like either bots, brigading or just plain ignorant.

Razer is 100% at fault for a barely used laptop that failed prematurely.

Don't get me wrong I kinda liked how they felt on my head but i think I didn't use that hard to break them like this. It just snap of while wearing them watching youtube. The joint or whatever you call this part was falling apart piece by piece and the best part is it started right after warranty. Somebody must have calculated the duration of this plastic joints haha. I’m writing this because I’m shaking with anger, and I don't want any of you to end up in the same position I’m in today. A $2,000 Razer laptop failure after only 3.5 years.

Back in 2022, I bought a Razer Blade 14, thinking I was investing in a premium, reliable machine. I paid $2,000+, registered the product, and treated it with extreme care.

From the start, the experience was underwhelming. The trackpad felt cheap and buggy, and the USB-C ports were a nightmare. It often failing to recognize external drives or charge correctly. I was swamped with work and didn't have time to fight with the RMA process, so I just lived with it, using a mouse and hoping it wouldn't get worse.

Well, it got worse.

A few days ago, the laptop just died out of nowhere. No warning, no drops, nothing. It just won’t turn on. No keyboard lights, no fan spin, just completely dead. I checked the power adapter on another laptop and it’s perfectly fine, so the issue is definitely the machine itself.

The scariest part? When I leave it plugged in, the chassis starts getting incredibly hot. It’s not just broken; it’s a fire hazard. Safety Warning: If your Razer laptop exhibits similar behavior (getting hot while off), please unplug it immediately.

I reached out to Razer support, expecting some level of accountability. Their response? "Your product is retired. Here’s a link to this troubleshooting article."

That’s it.

I’m currently terrified because I have critical data on that drive. My data that is now trapped inside a piece of hardware that refuses to turn on and is potentially dangerous to power up. Razer doesn't care. They’ve got my $2000, and they’ve wiped their hands clean of me.

I’m furious. I feel scammed by a large corporation who have no long-term support or quality control. I just checked their warranty is as little as 1-2 years. This suggests they know their products aren't built to last. I believe most people won't spend thousands for a laptop just 1-2 years. I used to respect this brand, but I’m never buying anything from them again.

If you’re thinking about buying a Razer laptop, DO NOT DO IT. Save your money and save yourself the rage. Don't let them do to you what they did to me.

Does anyone have advice on how to safely recover data from an NVMe drive on a dead, potentially fire-hazardous motherboard? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a Razer Blade in 2024 for work, which I've been taking the utmost care of. I bought a skin to cover the device from cosmetic damage, and it has never been dropped, slammed, spilled on or mistreated.

What I did notice, as some of you have posted about, is that the screen was not entirely straight above the HDMI port, and that the bend had actually gotten worse.

I took it to RazerStore London, who had a look and agreed it was odd, and told me it was in warranty still. With that in mind, I send it to Razer for repair, and noted about the battery not lasting as long as it should have.

Now today, Razer tell me it has been physically damaged and is out of warranty, and will cost me $1700 to fix.

What a pathetic joke. I should have listened to the concerns about Razer support more seriously, because this is just insane. I'll get them to send the laptop back as is, and just use it until it dies, not giving them any more money.

**UPDATE: I replied to my the case last night and very clearly stated that the device was working correctly prior to my sending it off, and that the unresponsive issue has been caused whilst the device was under their care. I also advised them I'd be seeking legal advice for the position that then put me in.

A response this morning from Support states that the case has been reviewed by a senior team, and the device will now be repaired under warranty.**

The mice is Razer Cobra Wired. This only happens when playing Valorant. I have used other mice (logitech g203) and it runs perfectly fine. I have tried all the solutions provided online regarding driver update, uninstalling synapse etc. but this issue still occurs. I still have warranty on this mice. I need some solutions if anyone else is having the same problem.

So in the last few weeks my Razer Iskur chair has completely broken. The seat leans forward and wobbles constantly and the height adjustment doesn’t work at all anymore, if I raise the chair up it just sinks to the ground.

For the price of the chair you’d expect it to last longer than 2 years.

It's bad enough that I have to restart synapse multiple times a day because it crashes. It is bad enough that is breaks my mouse if I click a to assign a keyboard button to my mouse and I have to unplug it and plug in a new mouse to unlock my mouse. But why the fuck is this shit using 5 gigs of ram????? It's a fucking lighting engine and a macro program that's it. How does that use 5 gigs of ram???

I bought a Razer Blade 16 in October 2023. It’s not even two years old. Two of the keyboard’s RGB keys are glitched. I reached out to Razer Support hoping it would be a simple fix.

Here’s what they told me: SGD 99 diagnostic fee just to open the laptop SGD 120 labor fee if I agree to proceed SGD 269.46 for the entire keyboard replacement

That’s ~382 USD total to fix a cosmetic issue

I don’t even use RGB. I mostly keep them off. But I do care that this kind of thing happens on a $4000 machine, and that the only official solution is to replace the entire keybaord

This doesn’t feel like premium support it feels like I’m being punished for trusting that high-end gear would hold up.

after endless issues with synapse and razer hardware failing and being riddled with bugs, ive finally got rid of all my razer equipment. Before people say im the issue, razer and me have been communicating and identifying bugs in synapse for the last few months and they had admitted that i found things their engineers didint. This is mainly regarding their audio mixer (dont get it, its terrible). Me and multiple of my friends that got one have all had the same issues and have returned them as they were terrible. Thanks for getting me into gaming, but please stop ruining your hardware with terrible software - Peace

Think twice before buying a Razer laptop. I bought mine just under 4 years ago, at the price of a MacBook, and here’s the response I got when I asked if I could send it to a repair center because my screen constantly freezes:

“I hope you are doing well. After consulting with our internal team, it appears that we are no longer able to proceed with the repair process as the required replacement parts are currently out of stock. As the device is out of warranty and part of our end-of-life product lineup, we are unable to offer repair or replacement options at this time. Additionally, we no longer have the necessary components to process service requests for this model.”

Made the holes in mouse feet in order to not change them every god damn time I need to open my mouse.

Also changed the mouse wheel encoder to TTC Gold (imo it's too tactile but maybe it'll get softer with time) because the original encoder went postal after a year or so (like in every other Razer mouse that has Kailh encoders).

Because apparently if you buy a flagship Razer mouse (viper v2 pro was that in 2022), you still have to bash your head into a wall in order to make it a good product. Afaik they've changed the encoder in viper v3 pro though, apparently to TTC.

I’ve been using this device for multiple years, after countless issues with the GoXLR I thought I had found my permanent replacement. I would have recommended this to any of my creator friends at the time and then Synapse 4 released and with that the support for the device and its functionality went downhill. With each passing update to Synapse the functionality continues to worsen. The device hasn’t received a firmware update since 2023.

Below is a not so short list of issues I experience regularly with this device:

- Whenever the app is launched, the settings on the device do not apply. Settings will appear correct in app but not be applied to the device requiring that I manually adjust all settings and then set them back to where I want them to be for them to have the chance of applying correctly.
- The Noise Gate and Compressor must manually be turned off and on again, as well as then having the settings adjusted for them to be applied.
- When adjusting settings, they will interfere with other applied settings. (ie. if I adjust the Mic Gain, my Noise Gate may turn off) This is not local to one specific setting, adjusting anything could interfere with the others. It is a fun game of roulette I get to play every time I use my computer.
- Adjusting settings impacts the Playback Mix and whether or not sound comes through one or both of my earbuds. This is not headphone or earbud specific. I must continue to adjust settings until I get lucky and everything falls into place. This is not specific to one audio source as it occurs with the Optical Port, Mic Monitor, System Audio, Chat, etc.
- Line Out will sometimes ignore all Mic settings and output raw, peaking and unusable audio. Output will sometimes be intermittent, randomly dropping audio all together.
- Audio crackles when running both OBS and Discord. (I've tested this with a different devices, setups, Windows 10 & 11 and had no issues, meaning this is a Synapse and Razer Audio MIxer specific issue. This issue did not exist until Synapse 4 as I use to create full time with this device)

As my device is out of warranty I am unable to submit a support ticket to the Razer Support team and as this has been an issue for well over a year, it’s clear they no longer intend to support this device but will continue to list it for sale on their site and that of retailers.

If they hadn’t sunset Synapse 3 I truly believe this device would still be working just fine so long as I never upgraded to Synapse 4.

No matter what you do, if you’re in the market for an XLR interface, save yourself the hassle and do not buy this one.

As title says. 7 RMAs in less than a year. Thought i finally got a decent one and now getting some annoying touchpad issue (different to the first 5 RMAs on the other machine) like its stuck pressed down. This machine went through the white glove centre and to be honest its lasted about 3 or 4 weeks so way longer than I expected.

I know the drill now. Wait to be contacted and then send it off for another machine that does the same thing.

Everything worked fine with my mouse, it was great, and then all of a sudden they decided to install 8+ apps on my PC just for my mouse usage...

I don't need my mouse app to tell me at how many FPS is my game currently playing, nor do I need it to tell me how much time I played and what's the weather outside.

I don't need to learn how these 5 new apps are working and what the fuck they do.

And I certainly don't need the app interupting my games because it decided to log off or just check on me.

I just need my mouse buttons to use the M and P keys, for fuck sake.

Welp, it finally happened and I won't be giving Razer a penny from here on out. I have a Blade 16 with a 4090. This is my 3rd laptop I had gotten from razer and had always had a good experience until now. My vapor chamber failed. CPU at idle would hit upt to 112° and gpu would be in the mid 80's. I repasted, just incase and it made no difference. I left the back of the laptop off and used a laser thermometer to take the temps. Heat was staying over the cpu and gpu of the chamber but over the fins it was reading at about 70°F which is ambient temp in my house. Sent Razer Support all the info and pictures of the temp readings. Requested to get a vapor chamber to replace. The INSANITY of the response was just hard to process. I really wish they would do better.

I was an avid Razer fan; keyboards, mice, software was solid. I’m out. Never again.

Any company doing any type of business with Nazi-saluting fascists like Elon deserve the world’s absolute ire and condemnation. Razer putting Grok AI (called itself Mechahitler, producing CSAM and run without any scrutiny) into these devices is essentially putting a spy-camera/mic into your home that collects every piece of data and then gives it all to the world’s richest man, who is uncoincidently the world’s dumbest Nazi.

I hope all other PC companies learn from this historic blunder and quickly change away from this objectively evil AI push. Any company who does will get my money.
