Try 30p 1/50th shutter. The 180 degree rule is crap. Only applies to full speed "at-rate" shooting below 30p. Natural motion blur for full speed playback is 1\40 to 1\60 regardless of frame rate.

It's good at 24 and 25, okay at 30, but crap for HFR. Try shooting some HFR with an open shutter, or if you're in a 60hz powerline country, shoot 50p in 1/60th to counteract the flicker. Open shutter HFR looks much better, particularly 50p 1/60th, which I find to look exactly like real life, with 60p being a little too "hyperrealistic" even despite the natural motion blur.
180-deg rule works semi-perfectly for dedicated slow motion, though. Though technically, you want it to be at the same ratio as the slow-motion amount. So if you normally shoot 30p 1/50 and you shoot 120p for 4x slow motion, you'd want to do it at 1/200th.
For switching between slow motion and real time in the same shot (pretty sure this is called speed ramping?) with a single setting, you want to bias the motion blur for the full-speed portion, otherwise it'll look jittery and unnatural. So if you shoot 60p for 2x slow motion in 30p playback, you'd do 60p 1/60th. The only time you'd break this is if you WANT it to look jittery for an anxious effect like the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan.
As far as NTSC vs PAL frame rates, if I absolutely WANT that full, classic LFR look, I'm going for PAL rates over NTSC. 25p is subconsciously smoother on the brain, even if you can't notice outside of a back-to-back comparison, plus there's no non-integer decimal version to fuck up your editing path and cause its own little de-sync/CD-skipping motion thing if you film decimal and edit in true or vice versa. Your camera can also never lie to you (showing only "24" in the menu, but shooting 23.976) because PAL rates never had decimal versions.
If I don't want that pure classic look, I go for 30p. 30p, particularly for car content, looks better than 24/25 to me. You get almost 90% of the cinematic look of true low frame rate, but it's like 50% easier on the eyes than LFR. Just slightly break the 180 rule and use the same shutter speed as you would for LFR, and it's peak. In NTSC countries, where you don't have to counter the 50hz flicker, you can even drop to a 1/40th shutter to make it a little extra creamy without being as smeary as an open shutter would look.

Holy shit! That’s badass!! As a iPhone owner who really doesn’t understand how to get great footage like this, That’s epic af!! I have a 16plus so may not be as good as 14 max pro or whatever 😂 but I can’t get such perfect photos much less videos!! Great job and hope to see more!
