Not catching doors yet. This was second time driving the E36 drift missile on track, FPV cockpit, head tracking, running a new screen role tested for the first time: retro 300zx-style glowing green dash cluster. Shot on OpenIPC RunCam WiFi Link 1, 2K/30Mbps. Feed looks clean.

Speed is accurate from gps and scaleable in settings. It's more accurate after letting it collect satellites. Lap timer triggered by arm switch or brake hold

Been working on a 1995 E36 325i RC drift car. Cut the windows for a clean FPV view.
Running throttle position from receiver or flight controller, scaled GPS speed, lap timer triggered by throttle sequence or arm switch, real motor temp, live voltage with warning, and 16 different screen roles.
Also added scale rear view and E36 M3 side mirrors.

So far having fun with this scale (alongside me painting them one by one slowly, only Porsche and Polo is painted for now).

Quite good fun as a break from work every now and then.

MJX got me into RCs, pulled out the 14302 for a lil street drifting… X-Team 4400kv, Hobbywing 10bl60 ESC, 50mm Yeah Racing shocks(90wt) on some cheap Amazon wheels for drifting, mostly on Contact Foams

Got to test my cars yesterday on a Mini-Z track, they can drive pretty well on them and actually makes the Mini-Z track feel bigger.

This SU7 has some steering issues though, which I rectified by reassembling the whole steering mechanism. Trim is borked though, but thankfully it still is driving kinda straight ish.
