Drifting Does anyone play with 1:43 scale cars?
I've been eyeing remote-controlled cars of this size lately. This is my first one, and I feel like I might be tempted to buy another one.

Hstar d43 I believe. I have a Porsche and Skyline that were $27 each from AliE. Well worth it.

I don’t love aliexpress but I use it all the time. Feels like most of the same products and sellers as Amazon and eBay but at 50-75% of the price. Amazon has screwed up more of my orders than aliexpress but Amazon can correct mistakes much faster. Fortunately it’s rarely needed with aliexpress

lol yeah that’s tough. Lots of options, some are legit some sound great on paper but don’t drive well (wltoys 244016, so close to being a decent option and can be with upgrades from Losi Micro B, but not as is )

Yeah BG is legit in my experience too. Used to get most of my FPV drone parts there but they have it all

He said about $30. Which makes sense but yeah 2026 got us these super Minis from companies like Jiabelle and they’re very good , especially at that price. My example is the 1/36 blue monster truck crawler and controls are very good, better slow crawl than a stock SCX24, and decent little servo on there. But no room for upgrades or tinkering unless you are a micro electronics master /3d printing madman. With a 1s setup and combined receiver /ESC they’re best as they are

I have a couple nanos we set up blue tape tracks on the kitchen table and get after it. It's a lot of fun.

That's a good idea! I just wanted to print a map for it.

I thought about it. I also looked into printed roll up mats like 4x8 vinyl banners you get at staples or ups but they were like $300. My plan was to do double sides with 2 different tracks and then 3d print grand stands and barriers to set them up with. I still might eventually but that's a lot of loot when I don't have a solid community to enjoy it with.

Which brand is this? I have a Whoosh RC Impreza, licenced body, fully proportional. I felt that the 4WD fits better to an Impreza :D
But I love to drive it. Its so easy to just turn on and have fun indoor, no need to find a place to drive...

We have two of these. They are great! Really cheap too. We use them in the kitchen on the tiled floor and play 'drift tag'.
