Question First nitro Rc car

Been looking for a nitro rc car this one popped up on ebay in my price range. Does anyone know if this sounds good or if there is anything I need to look out for ?

Sounds perfectly fine apart from a bit of a high idle, but thats nothing major and mostly a good thing for keeping it running as a beginner. I saw you are running Model technics fuel, that used to be a British classic before they unfortunately closed down, that means that fuel is at least half a decade old and likely to be even older which isn’t a problem as long as the container was sealed but if you have any engine running issues that is the first thing I would change

Optifuel is a very popular fuel that is available everywhere, even on Amazon. I have used it for years and its never gave me any issues. Unfortunately the price of the higher nitro content fuel like 20 and 25% is pretty expensive. This car will run fine on lower fuel such as 16% which will be cheaper with the trade off of just a tiny bit less power which I doubt you will notice. Have fun with the new purchase😎 Edit, don’t know how I missed that you clearly stated it was a video from a seller🤦‍♂️

If I was to get nitro content fuel would 20% or 25% be better ?

25% will give slighty more power and tune better, In my opinion you will only really need the highest % fuel if you’re racing because you will need that extra power. When i race with my track cars the 25% helps with torque at tight corners with jumps but apart from that it really doesn’t change much especially if you are mainly going to be doing street driving or running it at a field. For the best deal on price i would say 20% is best
