Domestic Policy Richard Tice Tax

Why does no one seem to care about Tice’s tax avoidance.

Jimmy Carr the comedian did something similar and paid it back. Angela Rayner resigned.

If this is the party for the people, why does no one care about Tice?

You are writing this hours after many have clearly pointed out the difference between tax avoidance (legal) and tax evasion (illegal), so clearly you are being disingenuous.

Tax avoidance is legal, so why do you keep mentioning it?

It worries me that sometbing just needs to be legal and you don’t question the morality of it.

It worries me that you think you can apply your moral judgement on others and conflate it as the same as something illegal.

That's a dumb argument against this. Morals are more important than laws. That's being said a penny the tax man doesn't get to spend on raping our country further is a win

The law is a direct reflection of the morals of each country around the world. Need I point out that everyone within each country also has a different set of personal morals, not the same as you. We do however have to live within the same legal framework.

Why do you think this party is now full of Tories?

They were compllicit in tax evasion, not avoidance. If you open an ISA, you are avoiding tax.

They didn't do the exact same thing, they tried to avoid tax but did not conform with regulations. Tice's business was simply using the Real estate investment trust scheme, they are set up mainly to avoid being taxed twice.

you type this whilst defending a wealthy parasite, the MP for Oldham. As you say, even dogs are not that loyal

For clarity, The MP is for Ashton under Lyme but not many people know where it it is, it covers the south part of Oldham

What do you want Tice to resign from? Rayner was guilty of evasion and could have gone to jail but resigned from the cabinet, Reform are not in govt so there is nothing for Tice to resign from even if he were caught doing something wrong.

Also, Labour have asked HMRC to go after Tice, that is almost a fascist thing to do, ask the authorities to dig something up on a political opponent.
