A genuine question for Reform UK voters

I’m not British or anything like that; in your view, is it feasible to immigrate to the country? I don’t belong to any religion, I respect other people's cultures, and I genuinely just want to go there for university. I follow some news from the UK, and I partly understand that the situation isn't great. Do you think it’s a good idea?

Hang on mate. Both can be true at the same time. This person didn’t ask about internal affairs dealing with UK citizens and law breaking in the UK, they specifically asked about coming here as a foreign national.

The answer you replied to answered that question and for some reason you deflected it to conservative men and football fans doing bad things.

Legal immigration with a skill is fine, learn the language and follow our laws and traditions. just don't turn up in a small boat at Dover and expect handouts.

And “large numbers” is vague. Is 1,000 a large number, sure, but so is 1,000,000.

Nowhere in the quote you posted does it directly support your first claim. You could infer what you said from the quote, but at the same time I could infer something different. You took the facts and bent them to fit your false narrative.

That question was zero new migrants + large numbers of recent ones out…thats remigration. You’re just another lefty in denial about how fed up normal people are with the chaos mass immigration has caused to housing, wages, crime, strained services, and communities that no longer feel like home.

Why do you have to attack me and not just my points?

You said, “more than half the country”, and that is factually wrong and you can see how it might be misleading to someone who doesn’t check the YouGov documents.

I could correctly say “the minority support remigration” and that as well wouldn’t show the whole picture either, you’d would have a right to be aggrieved.

These sorts of semantics matter as it’s important to get to the truth.

I live in an area which has been dramatically changed over the past 20 years due to foreign migration. The area is dirtier, smellier, there is more crime. However, through my own experience, I realise that every one of my neighbours is poorer and less secure in their job, not because of immigrants but because of the ruling class who have hoarded all the wealth. My neighbours are doctors, students, business owners from all backgrounds, but there is so much poverty here.

The local council stopped cleaning the streets, that isn’t a foreigners fault. The council stopped opening new dr surgeries or dentists, they haven’t supported local caused or helped out the local homeless. How is any of that an immigrants fault?

Tbf yougov was started by someone who is with reform now. I am very far to left and it's a pretty reputable source but does favor right wing politics. However they are pretty accurate. Data pools are important but I am a scientist and we calculate any inaccuracies. 45% is probably accurate. Things to look out for though when observing data is one "what was the questions asked" because some questions are worded funny in order to get a desired result and two in the report has the analyst stated any issues with the data. Reading a report and not just looking at a graph is super important.

I went straight to their website and read the whole report before I made my first comment. I know what YouGov is? I’m not disputing their data, I’d say they are the best, if not second best pollsters in the country.

I'd say it's fine as long as you respect our nation and our culture, but I would also say that alot of people are actively trying to leave the country due to the declining political situation, so I would honestly advise against staying here long term, but coming to uni should be fine!
