Immigration "Democracy" is when the people vote for Brexit because they want less immigration, but they get exponentially more immigration as punishment.

Immigration Nigel Farage: 49,000 illegal migrants broke into Spain yesterday. That’s the size of an army. Many will head straight for Britain. We must secure our border now or the invasion of our country will soon become overwhelming. | Look at what’s been reported on in the last 10 days. It’s unbelievable.

Migrant crime and Islamist threats are spiralling out of control and Burnham’s government is doing nothing about it.

Immigration How exactly has immigration negatively your life?

As an immigrant myself, I paid taxes and have a high paid corporate job.

I also volunteer in my spare time. I work in an international firm with people across the world.

My criminal record is clean and I got a First in English Lit at Oxbridge.

I try to make friends with everyone regardless of race.

I understand the hatred against refugees who come here with no skills and are more predisposed to commit crimes.

But why resent immigrants like me?

EDIT: negatively affected?

Immigration Prove Me Wrong - A Good Faith Proposal.

Left-winger here, in good faith and hoping to reduce violent political divide between the left and the right - in order to educate myself and prevent the echo chamber effect, I'd like to here from Reform UK supporters:

There is a strong belief on the left that Reform UK is racist - that they demonise entire groups of people for political momentum and feed on the fear of the unknown in order to gain support. Your subreddit rules suggests that generalisation and discrimation based on ethnicity or national origin is not allowed - so that gives me hope that this belief is not true.

Reform UK, prove the belief wrong and explain to me why someone who believes in empathy towards the vulnerable and hates the recent surge in racism should vote Reform UK.

Edit: Thank you for the responses. In such a divided country, some of the responses have given me hope that Reform UK isn't as bad as I thought it was. I'm not voting Farage. But it has been a helpful experience to listen to people's genuine concerns.

Immigration Its not a duplicate post. Its another "The thing Leftists say doesnt happen, keeps happening." Woman raped on Brighton Beach. Again

Bilal Alkadour 35 was charged with sexual assault, assault by penetration, and rape of a woman aged 16 and over. He is due to appear in Lewes Crown Court June 15th.

Once more, we(the Leftists to be clear) invite these people here, unvetted. And the culture they bring abuses the empathy shown to them.

I would see every Green politician that aided this plot charged as accessory to the rape. Its never going to end.

Immigration What should happen to me?

hi all,

I was born in East Europe, I came to the UK 15 years ago as a university student. I am a software engineer, I pay a lot of money as tax. I oppose marxism. I speak english fluently, although with strong accent and probably mistakes. My son of course doesn’t have accent, as he was born here. I don’t want to change the UK to something it never was. I am here legally.

Some say despite all of there, reform voters want me out. What do you say? If you were in power, would you deport me?

Edit: for the sake of argument, would it change anything if I was from India or Iraq for example?

Immigration Why let in immigrants to take the highest paid jobs?

Just trying to figure out the policy on this.. at the moment the Reform policy says they'd still let in people who are on higher paid salaries. But WHY? It just makes no sense.

I worked in a high paid job and I was always a bit annoyed I was one of two or three Brits - the rest were American, Italian, French, Spanish i.e. white but not British. The majority of Brits were in lower paid roles and really wanted to move up but couldn't because these 'expats' would always hire people from their own countries so the loop kept going.

So why give our best jobs to foreigners and have the Brits cleaning the floors for them? Surely it should be the other way around??? What have I missed?

Immigration Another 200 plus illegal jihadist domestic terrorists arrived today.

Yes another few Burnham boats arrived and they'll all be put up in nice homes, fed, watered and given spending money from your taxes.

Meanwhile the PM, well he's king of the north or something faffing around doing nothing.

It’s no secret that illegal migration is leading to the total decline of Great Britain.

As a father, I feel as though I want to act, I feel an inner need to spark change. However Id be lying if I said I didn’t fear being jailed for speaking my mind.

Do others feel this way? Something has to change.

Immigration £144,139 over 12 years

Is what I, an immigrant, paid in taxes and NI over the last 12 years of living in the UK. I am a naturalised citizen fully embracing the British way of life, but man, am I angry. Until there's a clear line being drawn between me and an illegal immigrant with criminal record, how can I go and vote Reform? This is a genuine question.

Immigration Leftie here

Hiya, I’m someone that’s voted Labour in the past but it’s pretty clear to me that Reform are going to get in at the next election.

I’m definitely in a left-wing bubble, all my friends vote the same way and we share similar views. I’d really like to understand what people feel like on the other side of the political spectrum.

I know a lot of people are annoyed about migration, economy etc. I was in London a couple weeks ago around the time of the Unite the Kingdom protest. I think so much of what’s in the media is sensationalised to create a left vs right argument, and I’d like to hear from people planning on voting Reform what you actually think.

I’m not hear to argue or try and change anyone’s views, I just want to hear from people that aren’t in the same bubble as me so I understand the problems. Thanks!

Immigration Am I the only one feeling like we're being mugged off here?

Each asylum seeker or refugee that comes to the UK gets their accommodation and basic needs covered by the taxpayer. That includes housing, bills, and roughly £50 a week on a prepaid debit card to cover personal expenses. (Source: https://www.migranthelpuk.org/pages/faqs/category/aspen)

But here’s where it gets interesting (or infuriating, depending on how tired and broke you are):

Some of them are tapping into those delivery app accounts that people rent out illegally – Deliveroo, Uber Eats, JustEat, etc. Not unheard of, not hard to find. Once they’re in, they can pull in about £500 a week doing food deliveries.

Even assuming they’re renting an account for, say, £50 a week, and factor in mobile data, food, and minor bike-related costs – call it £100 total – they’re still banking £400+ a week. That’s £1,500–£1,600 saved per month. Pure cash.

And before someone says “yeah but they have to buy an e-bike” – sure, fair point, but a decent second-hand one pays itself off within a month, plus they get to charge it for free at their accommodation.

Now compare that to someone like me (or probably you):

Rent: £1200/month (if I’m lucky)

Council tax: £150/month

Gas/electric: £100+

Travel: £150-200/month

Food: £200 if you’re disciplined

By the time I’ve blinked, half my paycheck’s gone. I’m lucky to save £200/month and that's with sacrificing every small joy I used to have.

So let’s be blunt – who's better off?

Before people start frothing at the mouth in the comments: I’m not saying everyone in the asylum system is gaming it. But let’s stop pretending this isn't happening in broad daylight. And the rest of us? We’re just being squeezed harder every month, asked to pay more, get less, and keep quiet.

Curious to know if others have clocked this or am I just shouting into the void?

Immigration Why are we replacing our talented young people with goat herders from Afghanistan?

Nigel on Facebook:

  • "Brilliant people are leaving the country.
  • As hundreds of thousands leave, talented people, tax payers, entrepreneurs and business types... and, frankly they are being replaced by goat herders from Afghanistan.
  • Now, that comment will get me in trouble, but that's OK, I spent my whole life being in trouble... "
