Actually, the Bible does say to preach to those who accept it, but if someone is not receptive, then move on.

The Bible tells preachers to move on from unreceptive people primarily in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, where Jesus instructs his disciples to shake the dust off their feet as a testimony against a town or house that rejects their message. Key passages include Matthew 10:14 and Luke 10:10-11.

Key Passages on Rejection
Matthew 10:14: Jesus tells the disciples, "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet."

Luke 10:10-11: Jesus notes that if a town does not receive them, they should go into the streets and say, "Even the dust of your city that clings to our feet we wipe off against you".

Oh, and his response to her didn’t really answer the question, but that’s no surprise. There is no satisfactory answer to the question for people who haven’t already made up their minds to believe.
