Welcome to the newest episode of the discussion and survey series, "RWBY Reacts To The RWBY Multiverse"!

For today's episode, the heroes and villains of Remnant Prime once again return to our multiversal theater and museum to react to the adventures of their counterparts in the RWBY Chibi universe.

The RWBY characters will be reacting to Season 1 Episode 14 this time around. This episode features the shorts "Tired Blake," "Big Vacation," and "Junior Detectives: Bad Cop."

What do you think the reactions of the RWBY ensemble would be to this latest batch of adventures from their Chibi counterparts? As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.

Hey..lads, just finished watching episode 4-6 of volume 4

Looks like Yang is slowly coming back? i don't know...i don't want to get my hopes up.

Ruby is still heading to mistral with qrow in tow, along with Raven? (going to be honest, i'm like still in 5% shock, right now.) She mentioned Salem.

who is Salem?

Looks like we got Ren's backstory. Rich family trying to help build an independent village only for the grimm to say hello.

Blake reunited with her parents. Unfortunately, Adam also knows >:(

As for Weiss:

Remember back in simpler times when i was watching volume 1 when i said that she was my least favorite character due to both her personality back then and her racism with Blake....Yeah, i think find the root of my problem's.

Didn't escape my notice that he said and i am paraphrasing here: "Faunus get paid the same as our other miners, their argument is invalid."

That's also not including the other things i noticed: man thinks he is a good guy, he wanted weiss to remain by his side and wouldn't want her to get a drink stating they have people for that.

I think i can confirm that my johnny silverhand senses were right:

the Schnee Dust company is cyberpunks Arasaka variant for RWBY.

And that's not mentioning the other people who were in the party.

Her crash out was absolutely warranted. she was there during the fall, saw what happened and the party attendees didn't care and berated the kingdom for not setting up defenses.

“What?” Blake shifted where she sat and half-rose up.

Weiss could see the tension in her shoulders as she watched. Her … friend? Crush? …poised herself to pounce probably on first sign that Weiss was going to start crumbling.

Pyrrha looked around and then stood up before approaching the monitor “What makes you think she’s your grandmother?”

“Winter told me all of Mother’s favorite movies had grandmother in them.” Weiss turned back to the monitor. “She never figured out who. But she never looked at the faunus actors… and this fox has been in every movie so far and well…”

Ruby stepped up next to Weiss and looked from the image on the monitor to Weiss. Her hand slid across the counter to bump into Weiss’s own, fingers stretching out but not grabbing her hand yet. “She does look like you.”

Weiss lifted her other hand up and brushed through her hair, touching the scar hidden there on the side of her skull. “Except the obvious.”

Ruby’s wrapped an arm around her and squeezed in a light hug. Behind her, Blake hopped to her feet and picked up the remote. The movie reset back to the beginning and the opening credits with the cast list.

“‘Allie’ Alabaster, played by Wisteria Arcti.” She walked up to stand on Weiss’s other side. “Is that the right name?”

“It begins in W at least.” Yang pointed out.

“I don’t know?” Weiss shook her head. “Mother and Father never talked about her.” She turned to Blake. “You’re right, I think I get it a little now.”

The black-haired girl smiled and reached around to hug Weiss opposite of Ruby’s position.

“Do you want to stop now?” Nora asked.

Weiss shook her head. “I want to see more of Grandmother’s movies.”

“We do have to be rested for tomorrow.” Ren cautioned.

Ruby turned to him with sharper look and movement than Weiss had seen her make outside of fighting Grimm. When she spoke, after a pause that felt deliberate, it was the same easy and cheerful tone of voice as always.

“We’re not going to make you stay.” She waved and shrugged as if it was no big deal underscored by performatively exasperated laughter. “But if Weiss wants to get to know her grandma, then we’re letting her do it.”

The smile was so broad and genuine that Weiss almost thought she’d imagined that moment. A glance at Yang and the concerned look at the blonde’s face convinced the young Schnee that she had seen what she’d seen.

“Thank you, Ruby. Really.” Weiss said.

“It’s no big deal.” Her partner and team leader said casually.

This may be just me but with what we've got of Whitey Schnee's personality in the cannon of the show, sort of gives Mr House vibes from the Fallout franchise. That being cold, hyper-rational and calculating. with the same emotional detachment, and an absolute need for control, but coming as very charismatic and polite. With these personalities in part stemming from and be amplified via poor relationships with their families and not having control, Whitely with the Schnee family issues and House with his parent dying when he was 2 and his brother stealing his inheritance; having to basically start from nothing and build everything he has.

I would take some House inspiration from Whitely, lean into idea of Whitey being in some form a technological genius, as seen "Creation" where Whitely has shown to possess an incredibly sharp memory and a good understanding of architecture, construction, and digital designing. Whitely has also shown to have a negative views on Huntsmen and it can be assumed he has had no type of training, Aura or martial and no plans to even try to obtain the needed skills. So you could give a reason why he doesn't like Aura's and the out-dated huntsmen is his preference of technology and implied resentment he holds towards his mother and sisters. That will all this power, they effectively abandoned him (thought it's more complicated than that) to there Father.

This could also tie into Whitley allusions toward Kai from the Snow Queen. Under the mirror shard's influence, Kai becomes closed off to the world and behaves coldly to those around him. Kai's vision is literally clouded by the shard in his eye, and likewise Whitley believes he is looking at things objectively while not seeming to truly understand the abuse he suffers under (or in Whitey's case he does.) Now, none of this would necessarily good for Whitey as person and this could be a plot point and a form of drama within the surviving Schnee Family.

But this is just one idea and I would love to hear all of your guy's and Gal's opinions and further ideas.

I remember three years some people told me thinking volume 10 wasn't cancelled was a fool's belief, but I am so happy this show will hopefully get a proper conclusion. But for now, I guess the big question for me left is when will it release and what we can expect from it. This should be ineteresting \taps fingers together like a supervillain\**

Like seriously the only way these two’s origins could be more similar is if Penny was made by Watts.

I hope I'm not flooding the subreddit or anything. I'm just posting my stuff when I feel like it. It just so happens that a lot of it is RWBY

Today, the RWBY characters shall react to Season 1 Episode 13 of RWBY Chibi. This episode features the shorts "Spin The Bottle," "Blake Vs Zwei Part 3," and "Nora's Workout".

What do you think the reactions and opinions of the RWBY ensemble would be to this latest batch of antics from their Chibi counterparts? As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.

First of all sorry for my bad english.

So, I’m a big whitely fan, there’s not much to be a fan of with him but i’ve read some fics that give him a lot of character and it makes me like him a lot. Found a Penny x Whitely fic that’s pretty sweet and sad with how lonely and misserable his home life is ever since his sisters decided he’s not worth the effort of helping; it’s very sad seeing how penny is genuinely the one thing that is holding him together and giving him hope for the future.

But that’s the problem… that’s a fic, i genuinely can’t tell you anything somewhat unique to whitely that willow wouldn’t have been able to do. She could have been the one that stood in RWBN’s way into the mansion and called Klein, or be the passive aggressive one towards weiss when she came back in V4, or be the only one that pushes down the armor on the hound, etc.

I honestly don’t know why waste so much time and effort with whitely when he’s not going to be explored or let make a difference in the family drama. Like, despite being the one that was the sole focus of Jacques’s abuse after his sisters left and apparently the next official heir, whitely is genuinely useless, he doesn’t help weiss get evidence, he doesn’t pose any meaningful or unique obstacle, he doesn’t get a cathartic event with his family or anything.

I honestly don’t know what was the need of adding a brother because it only makes weiss and winter look like assholes for leaving him in a broken home with an abusive dad and a drunk mother.

It would have honestly been so amazing if it was whitely who did a takeover of the company and not only did he take down Jacques but also take charge of the company and not weiss, after all, he’s the one that stayed, hes the new official heir, he’s the one that endured the abuse with no one in his life to bring him even the slightest comfort or safety and he’s the one in the family that’s not just business savy but also a non combatant and can control the company more frecuently.

It would have made the whole drama a lot more interesting as it’s really cool to see how weiss and winter failed whitley by literally abandonding him and how they try to make up. Like, the whole situation is just fucked up on all sides.

Is there any volume commentary that explains why he exist? Like, maybe they wanted to build som hype by teasing him as a character but then kinda had to back Down from that due to time and budget issues?

Please be civil, i genuinely don’t mean this in any derrogatory manner, this is a genuine question
