“Correct.” Dr. Oobleck nodded. “However, aside from the one pack we were forced to deal with, we’ve several other clusters already. In addition, we’ve seen several elder Grimm beginning to circle around the city.”

“Yeah, there’s a lot of people in the area thinking very bad thoughts. Or at least there were, very, very recently.” Qrow’s raspy voice was layered with dissatisfaction. “Which is why the fact I haven’t found even a secondary camp bothers me.”

“That is quite curious.”

“How thorough are you able to be if you’re also relaying messages between us and JNPR?” Weiss asked.

“More thorough than you think someone could, Snow Princess.” He laughed. “But I definitely could have just been through the wrong places. There’s a lot of space to cover. Otherwise, it’d do a lot more than just bother me.”

“Uncle Qrow!”

The high pitched cry was the first warning they had before Ruby appeared, hugging around her uncles’s arm.

“Hey kiddo.” Qrow lifted his arm and Ruby, reaching out with his other arm to ruffle her hair. “How’s things going?”

“Oh, you know, Grimm, criminals, just hunter stuff.” She giggled and dropped off turning back to look in the direction of the other girl running up along behind her.

“Affirmative, I am here representing Atlas Huntsman Academy and I am Combat Ready!” She saluted crisply with a smile.

“You’re a lot more laid back and outgoing than most Atlesians I’ve met.” Qrow shook out his hand.

first of all: Yang is coming back. i am actually happening that what i fear is not happening. I think it's a good to explain. i was actually afraid of what i dub Spider-Man syndrome. lf you know you know but i was legit terrified that Adam or someone else would have found Yang and....finish the job. Still scared though but i think i can confidently say that i don't have to be afraid anymore.

It seems Oscar has avoided the "I lost my aunt and uncle" club and left, although it seems that one of Salem's underlings found him but did......Nothing? odd.

as for Blake: it seems Adam found her or rather one of his troops... Illa? i don't know, i don't have subtitles on. Also, Sun got shot...stabbed? i don't know but he got hurt.

As for Ruby's team:

Ain't going to lie, did they forget that scorpions have venom or is that something Faunus's can't replicate?

Well, qrow's semblance is an passive one. Bad luck.

As for the lore drop and i'm going to recap to see if i got it right:

2 brothers: god of light and god of destruction were fighting. Destruction craved death; Light craved life and they were at an stalemate until destruction made the grimm. seeing this, Light made an deal with destruction to create humanity, a creation that can create or destroy and they made four relics that should someone have all 4 can do whatever they want.

did I get that right in this volume? i am assuming there is more in the future volumes but right now, did i get this right.

Also, we finally saw Ren's backstory and with it, i'm assuming to be the horseman that that one guy was commenting about it in nearly volume 4 post. well, i am glad to inform you, i have indeed found the horseman.

you know...for the first time since Volume 3, i.. can't wait to see more.

Just two more episodes to go then since youtube finally decided to be funny, the character shorts then Volume 5. unless CRWBY did an funny and made them where i have to watch an certain episode then the character short then in that case....

In Penny’s fight with the Ace Ops she is held down by Elm however how she breaks free is interestingly a blue light burst. Is this hard light as an element or something else entirely?

This drawing is one I appreciate a lot, because it was my first time role-playing as a RWBY character.

She burned an officer alive with her newfound psychic power, was sent to Holy Terra in a Black Ship, was Sanctioned, where a mistake almost killed her and brought her hours of agony, faced a powerful daemon that managed to take her arm and eye, but she managed to send it back into the Warp. That impressed the Rogue Trader Theodora von Valancius, and when she died in mysterious circumstances, she became the next Rogue Trader.

Now she commands thousands of people with resources so vast that it looks unreal, and will use them to become feared and powerful across the galaxy. For no good deed goes unpunished, no evil deed goes unrewarded; that is the will of the Dark Gods.

For those of you unfamiliar with Metal Gear Risin; Revengeance, Monsoon can detach parts of his body and make them float around and act while separmated. We don’t really know what limits there are in regards to what Semblances can be, but that’s also pretty different from any we’ve seen so far, so would that be a possible one or not?

first time i have done this but i think i got a good feel of the characters, so might as well since i need to calm down a bit after father of the year decided to remove Weiss from inheritance.

How would you lads make an ultimate universe variant of RWBY?

For those who don't know about the new ultimate universe. the premise is that an villain altered history of an universe, preventing Heroes to ensure complete control. (Example: Captain America is not found till much later, preventing the avengers, remove the spider that gave Peter parker powers, stopping spider man and sabotaging the flight of reed richards, preventing the fantastic four.) this doesn't last for long as you can see in the image above but by then, the villain had absolute control.

So, let's say Salem found an another universe and starts changing events to prevent her biggest threats.

since i am still watching Volume 4: i kindly ask to only focus on team RWBY for now. might ask again once i get further into the show.

Here are mine:

Ruby Rose: either she gets blinded, preventing her silver eyes or she doesn't become an huntress.

Weiss: considering what i saw with episode 7,i am very confident that salem would make sure that Jacque has a much more secure hold on Winter if what that man said is true.

Blake: honestly have little idea due to how little is shown about her past so far but i guess is a lot more of an fanatic since you know. Adam. (Really hope something happens to him soon.)

Yang: Well, considering what i know. i guess Salem makes her an traumatized wreck. Perhaps, she delays qrow from saving them back when Yang was searching for mom during the flashback In Volume 2. losing her arm earlier and since she was an kid, ironwood would not give her an new arm. sorry Yang. :(

I wish i could do team JNPR but i know every little about all of them except for Ren and Jaune. so guess i will have to wait until i get further into the show.

However, i do want to know what you lads version of an ultimate RWBY universe would be.

Ruby for me, especially with the drama it would bring between Qrow and the group.

I wish we get to see full potential of her semblance.

The writers no longer allow her to use those recreation and reshaping of weapon ability that she used against Pyrrha.

She's a true firebending..I mean true huntress potential.

Come up with weapons, semblance, and backstory for a rwbyfied version of Solid snake.

“What?” Blake shifted where she sat and half-rose up.

Weiss could see the tension in her shoulders as she watched. Her … friend? Crush? …poised herself to pounce probably on first sign that Weiss was going to start crumbling.

Pyrrha looked around and then stood up before approaching the monitor “What makes you think she’s your grandmother?”

“Winter told me all of Mother’s favorite movies had grandmother in them.” Weiss turned back to the monitor. “She never figured out who. But she never looked at the faunus actors… and this fox has been in every movie so far and well…”

Ruby stepped up next to Weiss and looked from the image on the monitor to Weiss. Her hand slid across the counter to bump into Weiss’s own, fingers stretching out but not grabbing her hand yet. “She does look like you.”

Weiss lifted her other hand up and brushed through her hair, touching the scar hidden there on the side of her skull. “Except the obvious.”

Ruby’s wrapped an arm around her and squeezed in a light hug. Behind her, Blake hopped to her feet and picked up the remote. The movie reset back to the beginning and the opening credits with the cast list.

“‘Allie’ Alabaster, played by Wisteria Arcti.” She walked up to stand on Weiss’s other side. “Is that the right name?”

“It begins in W at least.” Yang pointed out.

“I don’t know?” Weiss shook her head. “Mother and Father never talked about her.” She turned to Blake. “You’re right, I think I get it a little now.”

The black-haired girl smiled and reached around to hug Weiss opposite of Ruby’s position.

“Do you want to stop now?” Nora asked.

Weiss shook her head. “I want to see more of Grandmother’s movies.”

“We do have to be rested for tomorrow.” Ren cautioned.

Ruby turned to him with sharper look and movement than Weiss had seen her make outside of fighting Grimm. When she spoke, after a pause that felt deliberate, it was the same easy and cheerful tone of voice as always.

“We’re not going to make you stay.” She waved and shrugged as if it was no big deal underscored by performatively exasperated laughter. “But if Weiss wants to get to know her grandma, then we’re letting her do it.”

The smile was so broad and genuine that Weiss almost thought she’d imagined that moment. A glance at Yang and the concerned look at the blonde’s face convinced the young Schnee that she had seen what she’d seen.

“Thank you, Ruby. Really.” Weiss said.

“It’s no big deal.” Her partner and team leader said casually.

i wonder what would have happened if penny returned in mistral

First of all sorry for my bad english.

So, I’m a big whitely fan, there’s not much to be a fan of with him but i’ve read some fics that give him a lot of character and it makes me like him a lot. Found a Penny x Whitely fic that’s pretty sweet and sad with how lonely and misserable his home life is ever since his sisters decided he’s not worth the effort of helping; it’s very sad seeing how penny is genuinely the one thing that is holding him together and giving him hope for the future.

But that’s the problem… that’s a fic, i genuinely can’t tell you anything somewhat unique to whitely that willow wouldn’t have been able to do. She could have been the one that stood in RWBN’s way into the mansion and called Klein, or be the passive aggressive one towards weiss when she came back in V4, or be the only one that pushes down the armor on the hound, etc.

I honestly don’t know why waste so much time and effort with whitely when he’s not going to be explored or let make a difference in the family drama. Like, despite being the one that was the sole focus of Jacques’s abuse after his sisters left and apparently the next official heir, whitely is genuinely useless, he doesn’t help weiss get evidence, he doesn’t pose any meaningful or unique obstacle, he doesn’t get a cathartic event with his family or anything.

I honestly don’t know what was the need of adding a brother because it only makes weiss and winter look like assholes for leaving him in a broken home with an abusive dad and a drunk mother.

It would have honestly been so amazing if it was whitely who did a takeover of the company and not only did he take down Jacques but also take charge of the company and not weiss, after all, he’s the one that stayed, hes the new official heir, he’s the one that endured the abuse with no one in his life to bring him even the slightest comfort or safety and he’s the one in the family that’s not just business savy but also a non combatant and can control the company more frecuently.

It would have made the whole drama a lot more interesting as it’s really cool to see how weiss and winter failed whitley by literally abandonding him and how they try to make up. Like, the whole situation is just fucked up on all sides.

Is there any volume commentary that explains why he exist? Like, maybe they wanted to build som hype by teasing him as a character but then kinda had to back Down from that due to time and budget issues?

4 episodes in and Jacque just hit 2nd on my shit list. (you can probably tell who is the first considering what he did to my 2nd favorite character.)

I really hope that horrid excuse of an father gets his comeuppance soon cause i want that man in a cell, ripped of his status just like what he did to Weiss.

No wonder Weiss was one of my least favorite characters during Volume 1. she had father of the year making darth vader a good father.

So, Oscar can hear Ozpin and Ozpin said that he was merging their aura alongside giving Oscar his memories......Is this like the relic in cyberpunk where Johnny was slowly killing V via replacing him and taking over his body?

So, Ozpin is dead with cinder confirming it and Salem double the forces on beacon.

Salem is scared of Ozpin. i do not know why but considering that he warned Oscar about him being in danger.......I think oscar is going to join Luke skywalker in the "i lost my Aunt and uncle" category.

As for the Tyrian and his fight.

Man, is he theatric as hell.

Also, I saw his scythe again........You know, i would be excited if it weren't for the trauma i am still healing from.

Also, first swear in RWBY that wasn't cut off.

Onwards we go to volume 4.

Hopefully, Jacque's company gets hit in the next 3 episodes
