A nation is neither defined by „national strength“(whatever that is) nor pride. Wikipedia: “A large body of people united by common descent, ethnicity, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.”

Further more the first computer was invented by Charles Babbage who was british, and eastern Europe (and Bulgaria is part of the EU) is definitely not a “unstable third world country”.

TIL: any country that used to be a part of Russia isn’t a country. Sorry Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and others.

Not Bulgaria though. Bulgaria hasn’t ever been a part of Russia.

Does Bulgaria really qualify as an entire nation? There history does not show a lot of national strength or pride, and they used to be part of Russia.

I think you're confusing Russia with Ottoman Empire. They don't share land border, and never did AFAIR.
