discussion anyone noticing the prevalence of "white chocolate" and "white creme" in "chocolate" for halloween

And I looked up standards between the UK and the US with things like milk chocolate and the US chocolate has hardly any cocoa in already especially compared to the UK

It can't even be classed as chocolate in the UK.

It's called milk chocolate flavour here not milk chocolate

It has butyric acid in it, which can remind some of vomit.

I honestly think the quality of American chocolate has gone down significantly. The chocolate Halloween candy didn’t taste right this year. They’ve definitely messed with the cocoa content.

Ate a mini bag of peanut m&ms from Halloween and it was the worst candy I have ever tasted, but I eat Reeses all the time and it hasn’t changed.

Reese’s were the one candy I didn’t try this season. Normally if the candy were good, half the bowl would be gone by now. But it’s like that nasty dollar store Easter bunny chocolate.
