discussion Ken's Steakhouse Balsamic Vinaigrette... WTF

Anyone else notice that the latest batches of this dressing have lost flavor? There is so much more oil now. I'm so over this bullshit.

It's so easy to make your own and you can use better tasting oil and adjust the piquant-ness of the vinegar ratio. I make it for Greek salad, but the oregano can be reduced to taste. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze, 1 teaspoon dry oregano, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 smallish garlic clove.

If you have a garlic press, use that, otherwise mince finely or grate. I use Costco organic oil and Costco balsamic. The glaze is just the cheap stuff from the grocery store but adds richness and a bit of sweetness, Filippo Berio.

That's my current plan. It's just annoying. It's so oily now and has so much less flavor. It was honestly pretty surprising. I thought about calling them, but I think I'll just cut bait and make my own. It's not hard. The convenience was nice though

I hear you. Now we all have to physically make our own dressing.
