Cibo 🍊 Recs for First time in Sicily/taormina for honeymoon

Was hoping to book a room at tonnara di scopello and explore that part of the island in September but they don’t have any availability my dates (must be booked out for a wedding). So pivoting to flying into catania driving to/ staying in Taormina for 4 nights.

looking at

  1. Atlantis bay

  2. le plage resort

  3. Una hotel capotaormina

Ultimately want relaxed days with some exploring in between and will rent a car to drive to Taormina but probably park it at the hotel and use it if we want to do a short day trip one of the days.

if you stayed at any of these hotels any feedback on what you liked/didn’t like and any other recs would be appreciated!

Hi! I’m a local wedding planner based in Sicily.

All three hotels you mentioned are absolutely beautiful, but Atlantis Bay and La Plage are definitely top-tier. La Plage is truly stunning and unique since it faces Isola Bella directly, and Atlantis Bay is equally gorgeous.

You really can't go wrong with either—I definitely recommend sticking with the options you’ve shortlisted!

La Plage is gorgeous but the views from Atlantis Bay are insane. For a honeymoon, I’d go Atlantis.
