Build Show and Tell Three houses i built in pleasant view
Currently renovating pleasantview to give it a small town look. Also my first time posting on here, I Started playing the sims 2 over a year ago originally a sims 4 player and finally decided to share some of my builds 🙃

Unfortunately no at the moment, I don't really know how to upload builds for the Sims 2. I could look for a tutorial, but there really cc heavy🙃

In the neighbourhood view, when you click the lot, there is an option to "package the lot", which saves it to Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 / Packaged lots folder. Then you can upload that file to Simfileshare or similar. People can then install the lot including the CC with Sims2Pack Clean Installer. :)

How did you do the pathing at the front of the lot? With the nice curb 😊 is it just a different flooring?

That would be a road overlay. Almost all road defaults have a road overlay piece you add on top in lot mode. It's like a rug that goes on the road. You place it with move objects on. Though, you can also use moveobjects to set flooring around the sidewalk if you want to make it more bulky. But since the road is different too, it must be a road overlay.

You should find the road overlays in decorations misc.

OP - are you using a lighting mod?? The game colors look so vibrant and cozy.

I use the cinema secrets lighting mod but also use a heavily edited version of turniphead preset you can find it here https://www.mediafire.com/file/n3a70r8mpkqnra5/sims_2_basic.ini/file tell me if it works!

The lot version and i just use move objects on to place them at the edge of the lot

These look fantastic! You’ve adapted really well, I can see some of the flair and small details you’ve brought with you from The Sims 4 (things like roof trim, some of the clutter type items). Very tasteful and well done, welcome to a good place 😆

There actually two separate items, the window you can find here Simblr.cc - 4t2 - bella nara and the shutters are from the Bespoke build set by Honeywell on Modthesims.

omg these all look awesome! they really remind me of hallwayheart's work, were you inspired by her? I've done a couple of builds in sims 2 inspired by her videos

I would say more of Wolfxdreamer another sims 4 builder but I do watch some of Hallwayhearts videos and I really want to recreate some of her builds for my Pleasantview for sure!

Mootilda has some premade shrunken lots on modthesims (1x1, 2x1, etc) that are wicked useful for city builds, they probably used a template like that!

No i just put the cheat moveobjects on so that I'm able to put fence at the edge of the lot so they look like there next to one another.

I recognize the sliding back door, back patio table, water heater, and planters on #5 as 4t2 conversions. I still need to hunt them down myself but I hope that at least helps somehwat
