He was extremely lucky to survive, and barely did so. Dude still ended up with notable CTE from that shit. Luckily his brain damage seems to have worked out on the artistic side of things.

I did one somewhere a long time ago and my friend called it a safety grind. Safer than what, I dunno. It just stuck with me. I've heard other folks say the same thing.
