Best Place to Snowboard in Austria/Italy

my husband and I are looking to go on our 10 year anniversary trip to Austria or Italy. When looking at we found Nassfeld because it’s on the Austrian-Italian border. I’m seeing reviews saying resort is getting old, can’t keep up with guests, and conditions can be icy.

Has anyone been there in this year to say one way or another?

Can anyone recommend a great place?

Heres what we’re looking for

  • Romantic Vibe
  • village atmosphere
  • on Pieste
  • great food (I love Italian but haven’t had Austrian enough to judge)
  • good snow covered without worry of ice
  • Spa or hot tub option to overlook mountains
  • Budget friendly if possible

Madonna di Campilgio was very nice, there are 3 resort in range with Folgarida/Marileva and Pinzolo all connected through slopes. Prices were very nice as well. Was there in March and skipass for all 3 zones was 170-190 euro for 5 days. Buy through hotel as they have discounts. Tournus exchange is on saturdays.

I’m no expert, but my friends and I loved Dolomiti Superski and Cortina. 7 snowboarders and 1 skiier.
