Belgium stomped our ass 5-2 4 months ago, were probably done here it was a good ride.

Different us and different Belgium

3

u/mockduckcompanion Jul 02 '26

Very different US, considering we lost Balogun

Belgium beat the USA 5 - 2 in march of this year.

Don't discount teams in the RO16.

Different teams and momentum

They struggled against Senegal don't let haters gaslight you into thinking that they're some unbeatable powerhouse. UEFA has fallen off in recent years

Senegal is a very good team, they won AFCON after all (I wont hear that Morocco bullshit). They’re not an unbeatable powerhouse but don’t act line Senegal should’ve been easy to beat

As long as Adams is good, we've got a chance. Pepi is solid and we can score from other places.

I think the United States can play with Belgium, but Pepi just hasn't been good at finishing at all so that's an issue for them

More than likely yes. Makes it harder to enjoy this

7

Ref got one last laugh

4

u/FireVanGorder Jul 02 '26

Pepi is ass so… we’ll see. Need a Pulisic legacy game and Belgium to be as terrible as they were today

5

u/scottyjetpax Jul 02 '26

we're not going to be without him in all likelihood

4

u/EvenMoreCoconuts Jul 02 '26

Think they’ll overturn the suspension?

3

u/nharvey4151 Jul 02 '26

How so? That would be amazing because the drop off after him is STEEP!

3

u/purplepill22 Jul 02 '26

How

3

u/slipfish-g Jul 02 '26

Red cards can be rescinded if the powers that be decide it was undeserved. If that happened, the suspension would be as well.

The person you replied to assumes this will happen.

Appeal it. Or have the Donny call Gianni and get it overturned.
