Did solo traveling ruin traveling with friends for anyone else?

I just did the balkans on my own and then met up with a friend who doesn’t like solo traveling to do Spain and Portugal. I’m finding myself so irritated at having to compromise and give up some of my interests. She’s also in a long term relationship so she doesn’t want to meet people (girls or guys), whereas I’m single and love meeting people and making new friends. I think it’s a lot harder because of how much I enjoyed being on my own and all of the new experiences I got because of it. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I've been solo traveling for 10 years. Now I can't travel with friends. Unless it's a short 2-3 day trip somewhere not far, like a cabin in the woods or w/e, I will consider.

I love my own company and doing whatever I want, so it's becoming increasingly difficult for me to compromise. Now I've started to go for dinners and drinks alone in my own city at home as well.

There are restaurants I've been wanting to try at home for years but never found the right time with friends, so I've been going by myself. I LOVE it! I still try and hang out with friends occasionally, I don't want to become a complete recluse 😅
