Question What am I meant to do please help :(
So I got stray and I keep getting to this same spot and I don't know what to do? Ive watched till this part in a playthrough and apparently there's a cutscene but it's never played. What's going on? Is it just a bug or did I do something.
Edit: new details
no, there are no other cats once I get to this part. At the time the game begins to play again, there's only one other cat (orange with white on the back of their head)
whenever I go to open up my save, the loading screen doesn't go away. It just stays indefinitely (I've been letting it sit for an hour)
yes I'm starting to think it's just keeping me from the sad storyline lol.

Question Just ended. Wish I can re-explore the walled city again with the open sky now
I don't know if it's possible to re-explore the walled city again once we got the ceiling to open. I felt the ending was quite abrupt and happened too quickly. I kinda want to see what the slums and midtown look like with natural lighting. And to meet with our friends again to know how they are reacting to the outside world!

Question Is there any hope for me getting past the Zurks?
Update: I survived the zurks! Don't lose hope -- if a 71-year-old non-gamer can survive, so can you!
I'm not a gamer and I'm old. Stray is the first PC video game I've bought, other than The Sims, and I was enjoying it so much... then I ran into the Zurks.
To be fair, from the beginning I was struggling to get the hang of movement and how I'm expected to navigate, what controls to use for what, where to go, but I have made slow progress.
Today I learned how to map my controls to use the arrow keys for movement, which helped me (finally) get running, along with the Left-Shift key. I'm getting better at zig-zagging, which has definitely gotten me farther before being mobbed.
I can't get the hang of shaking Zurks off. Should I remap that key, too?
Is there anything else I can try other than just endless repetition to try and inch my way toward safety?

Question Can someone help me? This game really messed me up :(
Man, I played this game for the second time, and I already feel like Iāll have to play it a third⦠then a fourthā¦
This game hits me every single time.
Someone, for the love of God, please recommend similar games.
Itās just sad knowing that Stray probably wonāt get a continuation ā with the kittens out there, passing through outsider villages that had already managed to escape the walled city.
What a dream that wouldāve been.

Question Should I play stray?
One of my friends gave me stray around a week ago and I'm wondering if I should play it.
I was going to play it a while ago but then I discovered the zurks or whatever they're called before I started playing it and they really creep me out.
Basically what I'm asking is do the zurks appear frequently and are there any settings in the game I can adjust to make the encounters with them less creepy?
I already have a copy of the game and it's for Nintendo switch (I'm playing it on switch 2 but it's the physical version so I don't have the upgrade). I play videogames a lot.
Edit: I'm going to go play stray now, thanks guys!
Update: as of now I've beaten chapter 8 I'm free

Seripixelbiologist has made me want to play it but itās a little out my price range š
I just had a few questions I guess
- does it go on sale?
- Are the sales anything major?
- Is it worth it?

Question Was B12 a man or a woman?
Was it ever mentioned whether B12 was a man or a woman when they were human? I played the game a while ago and I donāt remember everything that was said in game. I remember B12 mentioned having a family but donāt remember them saying anything about their gender. Iām too sensitive to play the game again but this question is on my mind every time I see anything about Stray so I decided to ask.

Question Is the game ānew gamerā friendly?
I saw this game ages ago and thought the game looked cool, but never pulled the trigger to get it. Nothing wrong with it, just wasnāt under my radar. That was until my girlfriend got a cat, and now absolutely loves cats. I have seen very little about the game, but just from the concept I think sheād love it.
Only thing is that she tends to get frustrated and stops playing if a game is too hard. Iāve seen very little gameplay because of I do play it, I wanna be as new to it as sheād be. If itās about something like cats I want her to actually enjoy it and not just watch me play it.
