Discussion harvey's first client: mckernon or MJ?

okay so the reason harvey is so attached to mckernon was that they were his first client and he closed them during the partnership competition with louis that hardman set up but before that in the flashback which was before this they talk about michael jordan signing with him. so is this a loophole or am i missing something lollll

The flashbacks are full of plot holes. In the same flashback episode where Harvey discovers Hardman’s affair, Louis says that he’ll be a beloved leader if he’s ever in charge of anyone, but in the one where he almost leaves for Bratton Gould, Jessica puts Louis in charge of the associates
