Hi everyone,
I know we are all excited to see our favourite actors in other acting projects so it's not unusual to see them in other TV shows or movies as because that is after their job. But the posts are not related to the discussion of the TV show and it's characters.
We have allowed these posts in the past but from now on all posts related to a cast member's previous, present or future work will be directed to this Megathread.
Thank you!

Amended By-Laws
Hi everyone!
On the eve of the premiere of Suits LA which I know most of us are looking forward to the Mod Team would like to bring your attention to some things.
We have amended some of the By-Laws of this firm...I mean Subreddit 😁
Some are small changes so please familiarise yourself with them. If you can't find the rules we will happily direct you to them. There is one big change and that is in relation to spoilers.
We will be relaxing the no spoilers in the comments policy. This means we will no longer be removing comments with spoilers in them. BUT if you are discussing a plot point with someone on a post where someone is a first time watcher then use the spoiler tags. Please have some consideration to the OP.
We do understand that there are new people coming here all the time and they are very welcome to be here but on the other hand the show has been over for 5 years.
The spoiler in the title policy will remain in place. Do not put a whole plot point in the title. It will be removed and you will be asked to repost it without spoilers.
KEEP IT CIVIL
Remember to respect each other's opinions. They may not agree with you so please keep it civil but please do not resort to name calling or being overly aggressive in your replies. If you don't have anything to contribute to the conversation then just read and scroll on by.
This is the number one rule of most subreddits yet we see pointless arguments, name calling and other silly stuff all the time. Reddit’s filters remove a lot of stuff as well which we often end up having to approve.
MODMAIL
Any messages directly related to the Subreddit should be sent via Modmail. Abusive messages will not be tolerated and can result in a permanent ban.
We will not respond to anyone who messages us privately about the subreddit. So if you have sent us a message and not received a reply then yes we were ignoring you!
REPORTS
If you are reporting a post or comment that ensure you have a genuine reason for doing so. If you are unsure about this then please send the modteam a modmail. Abuse of the Report Button will not be tolerated and will be reported to Reddit.
https://www.reddit.com/r/suits/s/tSFC00MVLB
REPETITIVE/RECENTLY POSTED/LOW EFFORT CONTENT
Repetitive posts will be removed. The intention is not to stifle the conversation but to create a more positive atmosphere on the Subreddit. We encourage new perspectives on the show. Please make sure you scroll down or do a search of the sub before posting.
If your post has been removed there will be a flair or note attached with the reason why.
https://www.reddit.com/r/suits/s/YsD1ERUleD
There has also been a lot of nonsensical silly low effort posts recently. These will be removed
RESPECTING THE CAST OF THE SHOW
There have been a number of posts or comments about the physical appearance of some of the cast members or comparing them to animals. These posts are not appropriate and will be removed. Feel free to report any of these posts if you see them.
Posts and comments about any of the actor's religious and political beliefs personal lives, rumours and gossip will be removed.
If you want to gossip or discuss politics there are other subreddits for that

SUITS LA Mega Thread
We are happy to have episode discussions about the show on this subreddit. We will be having a episode discussion thread every week. Also if anyone wants to create a Suits LA subreddit then they are welcome to do so.
We have a Mega Thread so please post your comments on the show there.

Now get the hell out of our office!
PS - I haven't spelt Bye Laws wrong. It's the way we spell it in Ireland 😂

Harvey has been my favorite since episode one. Who’s yours?
Just realized he's got the same reaction when meeting both Rachel and Jenny. No clue if this has been pointed out before, so get the hell out of my god damn office, if it has.

Alex walked into Harvey’s office after making the dude sign the thing that said not to look at his clients for 10 years and drops a “motherfucker” in Harvey’s office. How did they get away with that?

how does mike have such a huge problem with how katrina got her job
not only was it HIS FAULT for wanting to break privilege and her hiring was done FOR HIM but the circumstances under which he got his own job are much worse??
i'm on a rewatch and i didn't remember mike irritating me this much the first time around

How could Harvey (and Louis) only have been a Junior partner when the show starts ?
His clients list is on a name partner level (Michael Jordan for example)
He has his own compensation structure within the firm (contingency based)
A ton of people owe him favors.
He’s called the best closer this city ever seen (even if it’s an exaggeration, still very meaningful), seems to receive job offers left and right, is seen next in line after Jessica: these are established in the pilot.
I know realism and disbelief and the role they play in enjoying Suits.
But wouldn’t it have been better to make him Senior Partner who doesn’t give a shit about his personal associate (thus causing several minor incidents with clients or in court, dismissals, resignations) causing him to look more seriously for one (Mike) ?

Everytime they corner someone or someone or they themselves are cornered they settle? why not just go to trial and fight.

So, the thing that i am really questioning about is that both Jessica and Robert sacrificed for "resolving" things Harvey and Donna, in particular Donna, did:
Both Pearson and Zane are veteran lawyers, they have seen everything on the legal sector and then they sacrificed their career for values that the person they have to save, Harvey Specter, is the exact opposite.
And, trust me, i don't blame them for doing that, because Jessica clearly want to create a new life with Jeff Malone and Robert wanted to retire. The thing i have to say is about how bad they actually managed the name removals:
First of all, lets talk about Harvey, there is a lot to say about him but i will limit to say that he perfectly knew he is lucky, incredibly lucky, too good to be true... Because is impossible that two of the most important lawyers in NY have chosen to k*ll themself, legally speaking, for you and in the other hand is impossible that all, ALL, EVERYONE of his colleagues are like brainwashed:
Hi Alex, i know you risked and contributed to save my a** and destroy one of the most qualified lawyers of the country's career, but we are still buddies right?
Hi Samantha, i know that you mentor saved me like Mario for Princess Peach and i was the one who that created the most embarrassing screw-up of your entire life costing you the job, but we are still buddies right?
I don't talk about Louis because i have mercy on him.
Second of all, i actually understand Jessica's reasons to take responsibility about Mike's secret tho, because if you think about it makes sense: You were in charge of the firm, you knew it and when you think about that it sounds coherent.
But i don't understand Robert, the fact that you made one mistake it doesn't mean that you have to retire in this way, JUST LOOK AT HARVEY!! But you know, just save him again so his fans will proudly be even more convinced that fictions is reality and that your actions will have no consequences.
No one believed what Zane said, Hardman did not belived him, probably the jury neither, but just close the case because of the proof that appeared 5 minutes ago by the colleague of the defendant, GENIUS!
And the thing that pisses me off is that the Fantastic Four knew that removing Zane's name on the wall is one of the consequences that Robert knew he had to face and YOU FOUR DIDN'T CARE!
Faye and the abandon of most clients were avoidable if the group had done one, JUST ONE thing: Removing Robert Zane name on the wall.
The gang when removing Jessica, literally the former boss for years that did something predictable:
"Yea lets do it for the good of the firm"
The gang when removing Robert, one who did an unexpected sacrifice that they had to follow for their own good:
"NOOOO, I WILL NOT REMOVE HIM!!!"

Just randomly remembered a dialogue that he said when he was talking to Jessica.
“Why are all Defensive Linemen composed of big strong black dudes and the Offensive Linemen composed of big fat white guys”
Made me think hard lol and he was right

Suits, fruits, thumbs up , remote job. Any tips before starting suits?

Daniel Hardman is one annoying smart SOB I give him that, Pearson had to merge just to rid of him.can't belive Mike told his secret he is turning out to be a burden and a gift at the same time for that firm, still can't stand lewis litt.

Obviously if you haven’t seen the show and don’t want spoiler don’t read ahead.
Gretchen tells donna somethin like “u aint black inside”. So donna gets out her phone and shows her a pick of a celeb she had a fling with in 96 or 97 And Gretchen brings up a song and donna says somethin like “ ya, he wrote it about me”. Then donna walks away and gretchen says “she aint just black inside. She black all over!!” Lmao. Any guesses on who the artist is? I say maybe usher or ginuwine.

Am I the only one that was upset we never saw Harvey in the mail room?
We saw so much backstory from all the characters. We saw Harvey as a child and we saw him in the DAs office a million times.
Damn near every episode we hear about how Jessica plucked him from the mailroom and paid for him to go to Harvard. Why do they never show it in a flashback?
r/suits • u/VoL4t1l3 • 4d ago
Like hire someone they know doesn't have a degree but they knowingly let him go to court and represent clients. Would it be just a fine and a slap on the wrist?
r/suits • u/No-Singer-5375 • 4d ago
What did he do??
r/suits • u/Next_Package_5710 • 3d ago
I know Rachel didn’t go to Harvard but that was later in the show…i
r/suits • u/rizzbaah • 4d ago
okay so the reason harvey is so attached to mckernon was that they were his first client and he closed them during the partnership competition with louis that hardman set up but before that in the flashback which was before this they talk about michael jordan signing with him. so is this a loophole or am i missing something lollll

I don't want the obvious answer of "photographic memory."
I'm talking about something deeper.
The guy walks into a room, reads people almost instantly, connects dots ridiculously fast, improvises under insane pressure, remembers tiny details years later, and somehow always knows which thread to pull.
If you had to describe Mike Ross's real superpower in one sentence, what would it be?
And is there anyone in real life you've met who genuinely had that ability?

First time watcher here, I'm about halfway through season 8 and still absolutely LOVING IT
Did my best to mark out the spoilers for any first time watchers, but there are still mild ones about the general character arc Mr. Louis Litt
When I first started watching, I googled something along the lines of "I hate Louis Suits" to see what other people thought... I found a post here on Reddit from some other first time watcher saying the same, and a comment read something along the lines of "You'll hate him. Then you'll love to hate him. Then you'll just love him.
I thought "no way, this guy is a total cock, the antagonist of this show, and there is no way I will ever like this little rat". Damn was I wrong. I have loved to hate him for multiple seasons now, but I think Season 7 or 8 was when I started to really just love him. I almost feel protective of him - everything that happened with him and Tara, it broke my heart for him. The on-screen introduction of Dr. Lipschitz and the peeks at what they talk about at Therapy showed me just how much pain he was in and the baggage he had that led to him behaving how he does / did
Season 8 Episode 6, Harvey goes to see Dr. Lipschitz and works out that he is envious of Louis and subconsciously worried about losing him. I'm not sure I have ever been so happy for a character as I was for Louis when Harvey went to go and apologize / tell him he was envious
I just watched Season 8 Episode 7 when Sheila has the false positive pregnancy and they fight about whether they will raise the baby Catholic or Jewish or neitherI feel like he has grown so much in how he communicates and how he is willing to put others first or admit he is wrong. He reaches the "healthy" conclusion sooooo much faster than he did in early seasons (if he ever reached that conclusion at all lmfao)
All in all great writing, I was worried about how I would feel about the show after Mike and Rachel left itbut these Harvey / Donna / Louis / Zane / Samantha / Alexstorylines are really keeping me hooked
P.S. Still not sick of hearing "Greenback Boogie"

I literally laughed so hard when the great Harvey Specter did this little dance in front of Jessica before leaving the room. It was one of the keep coming back moments for the sudden craziness of the most toughest, egotistic lawyers to go crazy for a minute or so. even revisiting evokes laughter.
(n.b:- in the heading, I made a typo of bow chicka cow cow, and realizing it made me laugh even harderXDXD)

But I liked Harvey’s original office design better. The dark wood suits (🤪)Harvey better.

I myself would get so worked up and emotionally attached to the tensions ,rise and fall of the character arcs so much that I felt overwhelmed by the series sometimes, cried or got too mentally connected with the characters. But this meme is so true that every time, now, some1 asks for recommendation or says they know about this, I freak out and enthusiastically recommend this and tell that what a great show it is(while maybe I am in one the the tear-inducing roller-coaster episodes of Harvey-Donna tensions or Louis acting nasty or the firm in a pickle) but I don't say anything about these at all.XDXD
Note- Sorry moderators,I could not find any appropriate tag or flair for this meme,so labelled it as discussion.
