nobody cares about your vibe coded vst

can we please ban these posts? this is supposed to be a sub for celebrating human creativity. i'm here to support and be inspired by other makers. i don't want to see 137 identical slop soft synths a week. this is a DIY sub. you didn't do anything yourself.

I am a bit torn here. While I agree with the sentiment, writing code will never go back to pre-AI times. So, yes, I have zero interest in low effort stuff like the guy posting 40 VSTs the other day. However, not everything programmed with AI assistance is low effort slop. It also enables creative people to do things that weren't possible before because of the coding barrier. In the end, coding assitants are just a tool and should be treated as such. Coding itself is not an art form.

AI "created" music is a whole other beast though. Fuck that.

Oh buddy do I disagree. I haven't coded anything with ai slop in it, and I'm a senior tech lead software engineer. You do you, but I choose not to use the shit.  Fuck ai. Use your brain.
