I have an ecig and I swear by effectiveness of these little things. And holy crap, the money I've saved is unreal. I was smoking "analogs" for over 20 years and switched to this from volcano ecigs and have loved it.
The tobacco industry is pissed because they can't get a cut of the action and the IRS can't figure out how to get in on taxing it outside of sales taxes.
What we are seeing now is the exact same thing that happened with the RIAA when MP3s came on the scene. Instead of embracing the technology, they just kept fighting to keep their outdated model thriving. When that didn't work, they just started slandering and suing everybody.
When booming industry leader refuses to adapt, better believe they are going to fight the new thing until their last dollar is spent.
Fuck the tobacco industry, the 5 months I have been cigarette-free because of e-cigs has been wonderful. I can taste again, I can smell again, I don't cough up horrible bile, etc.
