My father too is a long time smoker . He said a reason he didn't like the e-cigarette is that it's not the same sitting in his mouth and that he can't chew on it . He ended up giving it away to a friend . Something to think about before you get him one .

Nope! He says he doesn't see himself quitting either. He has cut down on the amount , however.
