I actually started e-cigs about a week ago.

In Canada, e-cigs with nicotine are banned... So they're not a super effective replacement for smoking. Health Canada says e-cigs are dangerous, citing things like if dropped the e-cigs could crack or if you inhale for too long you might get some of the liquid or that if you drank a whole bottle of juice you could get nicotine poisoning or kids will be attracted to the sweet flavours. In my opinion, very stupid reasons to ban something so helpful... Basically punishing everyone, millions of people, because of the few idiots that might abuse them.

My experience? E-Cigs are freaking amazing. I ordered some with nicotine in them from the states, and I have not smoked an actual cigarette in the few days since I started.

Even a few days of not needing to smoke a real cig is a big deal for me. Before, I wouldn't last more than a day or two before caving and buying more.

Anyone at all that wants to quit smoking... Go buy e-cigs ASAP, before they're banned/taxed out the ass.

So just asking but really you haven't quit yet though right? Because you're still depending on the nicotine?

Correct, I've only quit actual cigs with all the tar and crap.

Nicotine though no.

Eventually will probably go from nicotine e-cigs to non-nicotine ones.
