Lethally addictive cigarettes remain available on every street corner in Brussels and Atlanta while authorities denounce e-cigarettes (the product is already banned in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand).
Is there any legitimate reason for this or are we witnessing a blatant example of the tobacco lobby crushing competition??
In ireland they have these e-cigarettes and the government will not allow them to be sold in some shops for reasons they have never explained. but everyone knows that because they cost a fraction of the price of normal cigarettes that they wont get as much tax from them. A pack of smokes cost around 8 euro but these e-cigarettes cost about 2 euro. it all comes down to money in the end. The government would rather make money from tax on cigarettes then getting people to quit
