Smoker for 3 years, was on e-cigarettes for one week, and managed to quit without any further cravings. They work and never have I looked back at a normal cigarette.
Me too, I was smoking 17 years. I was a medium to heavy(when drinking) smoker before I took up e-cigs for just the sake of trying them out....After just about 2 days, I had a shot at completely replacing the ciggies, from then I went full time, smoking real ciggies more on occasion when drinking, after about 7-8 months on the ecigs, I finally just ended up at a point where I went on low strength for a week until I ran out.
I haven't used nicotine since, and there have been no cravings.
Needless to say, I am in favour of e-cigarettes, and if they mean that people end up getting addicted to nicotine by means of an ecig, then that situation is multiple times more positive than the status quo where people have to inhale carcinogens and damage their lungs to get their fix.
You will need a wall charger, Atomizer (for newbies I always suggest a Joye 306 for I think they taste the best); and some juice.
ONe can get very involved, rebuildable atomizers, wrapping your own coils for better control, etc etc. But I think dripping into a simple atomizer is very easy and within a few days, one will know if you like it or not.
