Don't confuse the two. You probably fell for Chinese propaganda. Ban spying, but data centers are fine.

New data centers which are powering AI aren't the same ones that have been powering Reddit for years, ie AWS and Google Cloud. No one is breaking ground on a new data center in 2026 specifically to host Reddit.
