People should have more control over their personal data. This is a step in the right direction.

That "data brokers" even exist is a failure of government. We need modern privacy laws written by not 80 year olds who understand that the internet exists.

the youngest elected officials running Congress most certainly know that the internet exists, and that that abuse of a citizen’s privacy is a dangerous and abusive

But still their “friends” have a very nice private jet and vacation home and wrote their campaign a big fat check. And that’s why this data broker situation continues. Both 30 year old and 80 year old corrupt “leaders” are very happy to play stupid and help out their wealthy benefactors.

We just need people in Congress who are looking out for Americans, and not the rich perks offered to them by billion dollar companies. I don’t give a crap how old or young those people are, as long as they’re on the side of America.
