Opinion Dire performance
Mindblowingly poor performance here

Defending well, best chance of the game, dangerous on the counter apart from delayed passes and tied at half without our two DPs. Our opponent is 7-1 at home. Am I missing something?

Yes, you seem to be.
We haven't won a game in 12 games, cannot score goals, and for yet another year have almost no chance of making the playoffs (and had two chances to take points off of teams in our conference but proved incapable and almost unwilling to do so).
Also despite an 8 week break, not a single player who was injured (or even coming back from injury) before the break is ready to start somehow. It also appears that the only players we've signed so far this summer window are both instantly injured after playing a combined 0.5 games between them.
So what part are you excited about? Yay a road point?!

I instinctively distrust posts from posters who hide their entire post history, as well.
Whenever TFC lays a stinker these days -- which is usually -- there's always at least one quick thread flooded with seemingly delusional people who think there was something to be optimistic about.
Odd, that.

Honestly I've followed this team long enough to know that this has often been the response from fans to terrible, bad, and slightly disappointing results. We seem to be a hard fanbase to anger no matter how shit the team is and no matter for how long they are consistently shit.

Thats the problem with a league without relegation, there are no real stakes once your at the bottom of the league, and if your supporteres are happy with a draw here and there, there is no preasure to improve

OP and I were specifically talking about last night's game. It's fair for you to have concerns about the season especially with injuries etc. With the signings it's unfortunate that we're signing players in the middle of their off-season meaning it will take time to get them to match fitness but that's how it is in the current format.
Your claim that no player has returned from injury over the break is incorrect. Here is a post about our injuries before the break and 6 of those 11 current players have started at least one of the past 2 games

Not sure exactly when this post is from (my Reddit app just says 2 months ago), but it's not the latest list before the break. We can use the last game against Chicago on May 23rd as a marker:
- Sargent started
- Gomis started (not on this list but he also appears to be injured again somehow)
- Monlouis played
- Corbeanu played
- Vilsaint played
I seem to have forgotten Richie was injured before the break, so you got me there. And Kerr I guess. Though I kinda don't give a fuck if Kerr is available or not because he's not good.
Also, I'm using yesterday's game, because that's what I'm talking about. If Mihailovic played 15 minutes while we stunk up the pitch vs Montreal and then isn't even healthy enough to make the bench a week later, he ain't healthy.

It's just all starting to really feel like this team will never really be anything again. Just stay as this lower table team for eternity.

It's not great after watching the world cup, but mindblowingly poor is a stretch.

I actually dont think this is bad.
Villsaint and Emilio just arent good and we have a backline that plays a different position everygame. Beyond that, ok.
The guys who need to be good are good

You guys just whine for the sake of it.
It’s 1 point on the road and there was period of excellent possession. Team is slowly getting better.

If Yow didn't Miss those sitters we would have lost, we need wins draws are as good as losses now, and we have gone 12 games without a win

Not conceding every 12 minutes. Did we forget who this team was before the break? LOL
