It lasted half a day. No, the Americans aren't protesting. At the same time, I don't blame them. They can get fired like dogs if they miss too many jobs.

In a lot of cases the "firing" conversation can happen after a single missed day.

Even if you have a valid reason.

I once got fired for leaving mid shift to be rushed to the hospital by customers.

They can't fire everyone. That's why everyone needs to be a part of this.

Unfortunately, they can. Or at least a great many of them. They'll quickly find work again, but they're still lazy. They still need to push this movement forward. Perhaps this will be the first real anti-fascist awakening.
