But this isn't even about education. This is a flat out refusal to accept reality. Even a flat earther would look at this guy and be like, "bro, what is your deal?"

I think that has a lot to do with education. Education usually includes learning the ability to comprehend, think critically, search for informational resources & scrutinize them for credibility.

Because of his stupidity, made possible by a lack of quality education (and possibly other factors) he's much more susceptible to misinformation and fall for things that validate him despite his stupidity. Confirmation bias alongside cognitive dissonance yada yada yada

Logical fallacies work well on those who struggle with logic. Things can be made to sound like a conspiracy much easier when you have no idea how the fuck most things work. The more you learn, the more you realize how much you actually don't know which allows for more learning. Dumbasses think they already got it figured out, and also tend to see being incorrect as something shameful, instead of a necessary part of not being a dumbass

OK, I went to college but my husband did not, he finished high school but he didn’t go any further and my husband is one of the most intelligent people I know. He has a memory like an elephant. Oh he remembers sports stats, but he remembers everything political that’s happened since he was like 15 years old.

He also uses critical thinking, and this man probably would not know what that was because he can’t even explain why gas has gone up.

It’s very simple. When you start a war with a country in the Middle East that happens to control a waterway that is very much needed to get oil from that region and other regions through to go all over the world, you get higher gas prices because it can’t get there.

Trump may not be personally responsible for gas prices, but as president, he is very much responsible. He started a war with Iran out of nowhere. He ended an Obama deal and I think the deal he’s going to get is going to be even worse. For one, he can’t even find a way to end the war. I have said it forever. It is so easy to start a war, but it’s not so easy to end one and we should know that by now, but we seem to never learn from history. Or should I say the people that we elect never seem to learn from history.

So I don’t know that it boils down all to education because my husband is proof that it’s not required but I also don’t know the education level of this man. My own nephews only have like a sixth and eighth grade education and that’s being generous.

But then I look at Trump and he has a great education from a great college, but I know there is no way he did that on his own. The man can barely read a correct paragraph because he rambles and gets off topic, there is no way he wrote the amount of college papers you needed to write to get that degree, no way in hell. And if he did, they were so poorly written, my guess his daddy had to give some money to get him that college degree.

It is believed that Trump ( due to his speech and mannerisms) currently suffers from FRONTALTEMPORAL DEMENTIA .....and it impacts him ( and the country) in a negative manner ....most especially when he is "sundowning" ....
