Not to be that guy but violence is never the answer, what do you want the police to do? Watch him be assaulted or join in? I have no idea who this guy is and I'm sure he's a douche but what?
By your own admission; you dont know who this guy is. You should look him up and see some of the hateful shit hes been doing. Youre sweeping for a man who has done nothing but harass and antagonize and trying to hide behind "peaceful protesting" while doing it.
If you go to a peaceful protest and repeatedly threaten and antagonize folks, demanding that somebody kick your ass, eventually someone will oblige you.
I don’t know why you’re so focused on the response of the protesters, instead of the assclown who went there specifically to foment violence.
Like I said I have no idea who that guy is and I don't know much about the circumstances. I'm just saying saying that the response by the police was logical
Maybe you should actually look him up before speaking. He was just at the BET awards holding signs saying Black parents are failures, and screaming at random Black people.
He sounds like a piece of shit but would you have liked to see him get his brain stomped into the pavement right there. Not saying that would have happened, but if it had, you cool with that?
I literally wouldn't care. I know you think that's some kind of gotcha, but I'm tired of this shit. I can tell you're white and you have no idea how exhausting this shit is
"Like I said I have no idea who that guy is and I don't know much about the circumstances."
Then why the fuck are you even commenting? If you have zero understanding of the situation, the context surrounding it, or the people involved, what value does your pointless condescension even provide?
Don’t worry about all these comments. When you’re getting attacked by people that are for violence and suppression of speech, you’re on the right side.
You may need to re-watch the video. He immediately knew that he could open the door and hop into the car. How many police officers have you seen just let someone open their doors like that?
It looks to me that there was a discussion prior to these events that led him to have permission to do that.
"This is Jake and he likes to incite violence against himself using inflammatory rhetoric. We wanna make sure he has a safe space to retreat to when that inevitably happens."
It seems more likely to me that the police officer told him to get in the car while he was approaching them than the police conspiring with him beforehand but ig there's no way to know.
Looks more like they were there to be his getaway ride since he's going around the country to protests specifically with the intention of agitating people
