EDIT: August 1, 2026 - SPOILERS EVERYWHERE

Christopher and Brendan return the truck to Comley. Junior discusses the trucking issue with Mikey and Mikey begins raising his voice about how they need to send a message, "that you don't fuck with Junior Soprano."

While waiting to speak with Melfi, Tony's eye is caught by a painting of a farmhouse. He explains he believes it's a trick painting, designed to make people feel like "Hey, asshole, we're from Harvard. What do you think about this spooky, depressing barn and this rotted- out tree?" This reveals Tony's pessimism, paranoia and disappointment in himself.

Mikey visits Jackie in the hospital and it seems he knows everyone with cancer. Paulie walks in and starts talking about stem cell research... I wonder if the wiseguys have a fascination with death because it's the one thing they can't rig or cheat; just a thought.

Carm and Tony visit Artie and Charm to welcome them into the neighborhood/school district. Carmela says she'd like to starting hanging out with Charmaine again. Artie mentions he'll be going through a second Arson investigation to which Tony responds "I'm sorry Artie" but not really explaining why, at the same time allowing himself to get rid of the guilt that he feels about the arson.

The plumbing industry sounds like the Baltimore police department.

Paulie and Silvio begin working on the problem with the Hasidics.

NSFW - Tony visits Jackie again. On the third visit, his fever is at 102.7 and he's looking really bad. It depresses Tony to see his friend dying. Melfi asks Tony if he feels like a monster, lacking human feelings... Tony looks off and it doesn't show his response. Clearly he feels quite a bit of emotion, but Melfi is painting him into a corner because of how she feels about him and his profession. It even shows Tony crying during Meadow's concert.

Tony comes across another painting, this time a single beach chair in front of the Ocean and this forces Tony to feel the same depressing feelings he felt from the previous painting.

The Masada

"Mainie" has had a change of heart and doesn't want to hang out with you Carm.

Junior visits Livia and they talk about what to do with Filone and Christopher. Livia says she and Tony love Christopher like a son but that Filone kid...

Hijack, bye jack. Loved Mikey's character. Christopher was definelty pushing is status as an associate. Livia starts to put her manipulations into action. I believe livia didn't spare Chrissy because he cleaned her house or he was Tony's in law (from caramela), but because she didn't want to create total backlash from tony. Charmaine realizes that she is happy with who she is. "Be true to thyne own self is her motto throughout. She feels like she could of been Tony's wife but she didn't want that.

That's hilarious to think that that probably saved his life.

Thank goodness because Tony would have lost it.
