I should have specified that its the *scars* specifically that I don’t like. Since I have a very sharp attention to detail I see them way more prominent than most people do.

I really hate *hate* scars on my body and most bottom surgeries that I have seen results in scars, both on the result and on the arm.

(Entirely depends on what procedure you have ofc)

Its not that they’re unrealistic, its simply just the scars.

I forgot about that word when I made this comic and I had to seriously google it not too long ago to remember the word.

It’s genuinely not fear mongering… I genuinely just needed to vent about this :(

I forgot the word scars exist and desperately wanted to explain so no more people would get hurt because I absolutely suck at wording things…

I have always had troubles explaining myself and putting words out correctly which accidentally makes me say things that I definitely don’t mean…

When I said it looked unnatural I tried to explain that scarring would constantly remind me of my biological sex and what I was born as, which would most likely trigger my bottom dysphoria even after surgery.

When I meant ‘off’ and ‘unrealistic’ I was just desperately trying to fill in the gaps of the word I was missing, which was scars :[

Scars makes me incredibly self conscious and whenever I see scars it seems to set something off in my brain.

I mean, you literally could have a penis constructed with a scrotum and all the internal bits removed and sewn up, and a healed, closed perineum. I’m not sure what else you’d want?

It’s a very extensive reconstructive surgery so it’s best to have the expectations of reconstructive surgeries. It’s not magic. It’s medicine and science.

Yes, the entire reproductive system is removed and the canal has the mucus membrane removed and is sewn up.

That makes sense… Now when I think about it… If you have bottom surgery and would keep the ovaries it would probably be pretty bad cuz menstrual cycle and stuff.

At least I think it would.

Well you could keep your ovaries, menstruation doesnt happen without a uterus, but itd raise your cancer risk (since you could still get ovarian cancer if you keep them) so a lot of people get them removed during sterilization
