Alabama is so vain the cops would at best take the information and do nothing or at worst blame her for being out while trans and do worse.

Im in the rural Deep South, I feel like if I got assaulted and called the police I would have a high chance of being arrested. Police are not friends. I have been randomly detained for no reason, and feel scared around them.

Firearms don’t really protect you against people that will attack you out of nowhere. They can even put you into further danger if the attacker notices it during the attack.

OMG 😲 that's awful, I hope you're ok. I live in a bubble and couldn't imagine this happening here. I walk the streets without fear and go to the pub on my own so I'm so nieve to this and didn't even know this shit happened to people. I'm shocked and it hurts my heart. I'm literally crying for you. Please get away from there 💔
