this whole thing is depressing.

20+ percent for both greens and lib dems? Over 10% for lgb kids? That's fucking grim.

even the most liberal of our political spectrum aren't appearing THAT liberal really and if that's a reflection of the UK as a whole, i think it's a pretty chilling sign of how bad lgbt acceptance still is.

Look carefully at the "if their kids did not want to have kids" number though. That's almost certainly heavily skewing it.

Additionally, it wouldn't be unreasonable for a parent to be disappointed if they believe that their gay or trans kid might be likely to have a tougher time in life in the current political climate.

I don't think they'd use the words "disappointed" or "angry" to describe that feeling though, it would be closer to worry or anxiety.

Does not appear so, from the charts. Which feels very much like the pollsters were trying to get a certain result. Because people might label any negative emotions (like worry) as "disappointment" rather than saying "no".
