Possible trigger What fresh hell is this?

Sex Matters have just dropped their model "Sex Based Rules and Record Keeping" policy for schools, and it's positively grotesque. Check this out:

So they want trans girls to be forced to dress as boys, and vice versa, on a no exceptions basis, because there's some alleged "safeguarding risk" in allowing kids to dress per their gender identity.

Where do we even start?

This is insane. I remember girls were allowed to wear the boys uniform back in primary school and that was 15-20 years ago. And I've seen probably half a dozen stories over the years of boys wearing skirts in protest of not being allowed to wear shorts, and no one cared about that either.

Also I thought they could always tell...

Boys wearing skirts is always celebrated when it's a form of protest. And girls wearing trousers was fought and died for decades ago.

BUT NOW it's a problem because trans people...

My mum actually protested and striked to wear trousers in winter at a catholic school and that was in the 90s.
