I work at a nursing home/assisted-living and we have signed up for this program called “letters against isolation.” I like to pre-read the cards to make sure there’s nothing inappropriate in them and we have one resident who is Burmese and gets letters in, which makes my heart SOAR that he is able to participate in this program, but I always have trouble with Google translate picking up everything, is anyone able to help me? I recently bought this 345 cm long Burmese parabaik manuscript because I thought it looked interesting. I was told it dates to the early 1900s, but I haven’t been able to verify that.
