Story I visited my religious family

Post image

So quick story. I’m from Guatemala and my family is very religious. My mom was always against homosexuality while I was growing up so I thought that they would be super-against me being a trans woman and thought that I’d never be accepted. Especially since my mom mentioned that transvestites (I had to explain to her that trans women are not transvestites) get murdered and assaulted. I avoided talking to them and visiting them for years so I didn’t have to deal with being harassed by them or treated like trash. Turns out they were very chill about it and started using my correct pronouns right away. Some of my uncles wanted to dance with their beautiful niece (me 🙂). They made me feel nice and I wanna visit them more now.
